Features

  • Get all-over protection for your front end with the Covercraft Full Mask
  • The Full Mask is custom-designed to cover all the way from your bumper to the leading edge of your hood on your year, make and model
  • Traditional 1-piece car bra installs and comes off quickly, while the 2-piece lets you open and close the hood naturally
  • Covercraft constructs your Full Mask from heavy-duty black vinyl, which has an attractive leather grain texture
  • Non-woven, downy fleece liner guards against scratches while it pampers your paintjob
  • Micro-perforation lets the Full Mask breathe, so it dries out while you drive around, even in wet weather
  • Protective air intake screens are woven into the Full Mask, so they won't rub against your finish
  • Covered aluminum tabs let you make minor size adjustments when the weather changes
  • Uses woven nylon straps, molded plastic hooks, felt-covered metal wheel well hooks and adhesive velcro for attachment
  • Reinforced air foils keep your Covercraft Full Mask from flapping in the wind like lesser auto bras
  • Cleaning is a breeze - just wash it off with a hose, let it dry and put it back on
  • Includes a 3-month warranty

Description

Because the nose of your vehicle bears a lot of abuse, it deserves the maximum protection that the Covercraft Full Mask delivers. From the base of your bumper to the leading edge of your hood, this front end mask shields your finish from dings, gouges and other paintjob-marring damages that cost you dearly at the body shop.

Your Covercraft Full Mask is custom designed to fit like a second skin on your exact year, make and model. When the weather changes, the covered aluminum tabs let you fine-tune the tension.

Covercraft crafts their Full Mask from heavy-gauge black vinyl, which is micro-perforated to allow drying while you're driving. To protect your paint from scratches, the inner layer is a soft, non-woven fleece.

The Full Mask comes in two styles. The 1-piece installs in no time, and comes off just as easily when you need to pop the hood. The 2-piece design takes more time to go on, but the hood opens normally. And, both include a 3-month warranty.

Notes

  • The Covercraft Full Mask does not cover the bumper on certain truck models because it would prevent you from mounting lights, grille guards and other truck accessories.

Good Cover- Poor Instructions

Posted on 05/24/2007 by Stephen D. - 2003 Ford Mustang (Tampa,FL)

"I know we all like to save money so we can sell our products at a reasonable price. However, in this case a really good product was made not so great because the manufacturer had one set of instructions for every conceivable vehicle. My wife, who attempted the installation was ready to send it back as there wasn't any way it would fit. I flipped it around and after some trial and error fit it to the vehicle. I purchased a mask from Ford for my Cobra. Pictures, complete instructions, it was a piece of cake. Bottomline, the Covercraft mask is a decent product needing some improved installation sheets."

nice fit

Posted on 05/18/2007 by Stephen W. - 2003 Toyota Matrix (Rochester,NH)

"The cover fit very nicely, and was easy to install. The only thing I noticed was that the hood and nose cover edges did not line up to each other. There was about 1 inch difference, however, I consider this minor and am extremely happy with the product overall. Sincerely, Stephen W"

Difficult

Posted on 05/16/2007 by Alan S. - 2007 Honda Fit (Vero Beach,FL)

"If you are going to install this product, get expeienced help, some idustrial velcro and use your imagination. The instructions do not help, even with no wax and a clean surface the sticky parts would not hold, and four hands was not enough. BUT, after a trip to the hardware store and 40 minutes of tugging and adjusting, it fit like a glove! Next time will take 2 minutes."

Missing hook

Posted on 05/12/2007 by Jeanette S. (West Chester,OH)

"We really liked the car mask for our 07 Rav4, except there were only 3 plastic cover hooks in the package of attaching pieces. We might have sent it back, but we didn't discover it until we had everything else on."

"Installation was not bad and mask covered well. Made a 2,000 mile trip recently and it saved a lot of bug and debris from sticking to the vehicle finish. Easy to clean with a damp towel. Once necessary parts are in place, the mask can be removed and reinstalled easily."

2007 Corolla Car Mask

Posted on 05/02/2007 by Chris T. - 2007 Toyota Corolla (Richfield,UT)

"First of all, I received the mask very quickly, I was very impressed with the speed of shipment from autoanything. The instructions for installing the mask weren't quite as detailed as I probably would have liked, being as how I have NEVER put one of these on before, but after a little looking around, I think I figured out where all the hooks were supposed to go. All in all, once the weather heated up I was able to finish stretching the mask to a skin tight wrinkle-free wrap around the front of my car perfectly! It's especially nice now driving on the rural highways with all the flying insects out now, it washes off clean as ever with little or no effort!"

2006 Jeep car bra

Posted on 05/02/2007 by Andreas K. - 2006 Jeep Liberty (Brighton,IL)

"I was concerned about the installation because the instructions were not specific. After laying the covers out it became more clear as to what must take place. I was not sure where to tie the two long strips under the hood, but found a couple of small holes on the hood hinge. I was not happy with the velcro attachment pieces to be used under the fenders. These were difficult to install. I trust that they will stay in place. I did this installaton two days ago. At this time it looks good. Please improve on the instruction material and the attachment parts under the fenders."

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.

"As usual, received product in a timely manner. Purchased the full mask for '05 Dakota. So far no flapping in the wind. Construction and material are good. Installation was such that u had to look to figure out the installation because the generic instructions were useless. There are two long straps on the hood mask that will not connect to anything under the Dakota's hood. You will have to just tie them together."

not smooth fitting

Posted on 04/28/2007 by Tyler M. - 2004 Dodge Stratus (Moscow Mills,MO)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"Will it protect the front of the car as a bra is supposed to? Yeah. But it wasn't easy to get on, doesn't fit as it's supposed to (loose in some places), directions aren't clear and have to flip between 2 different sets of instructions, and the latches that are supposed to tighten in the wheel wells don't hold tight no matter what you do. My advice if you buy one is to invite someone over who is slightly mechanically inclined (if you're not), scrap the POS instructions and just do it as it looks it should fit. Use the instructions to start the fire in the grill for the barbecue while you're putting the bra on. Relatively cheap bra, so I guess you get what you pay for. If I were to do it again, I'd spend a little extra and get one that would fit like it's supposed to rather than a "this fits many cars OK, but none well" bra. Then they ask you for a review and offer $10 off another purchase, but it has a huge list of excluded items. GREAT...so I get $10 the 4 remaining eligible products, none of which I want or can use. Thanks..."

Mediocre at Best

Posted on 04/26/2007 by Arthur N. (Dunnellon,FL)

"The quality of the material is top notch; however, the method for attachment to the vehicle leaves a lot to be desired. The velcro tabs are a real pain to adjust and don't seem to hold all that firmly. I hope they don't come loose when I'm doing 90 on the Interstate! Also, I have no idea where the stick-on velcro pad is supposed to go. The kit would have been better with clip-on pads only. Overall, I'm am rather disappointed. Due to Love Bugs here in FL I must have some sort of protection. Unfortunately there are not very many choices for the 2007 Rav4 or else I would recommend a different brand."

"This is a very nice looking car mask and fit very nice with the exception of the bottom hooks. They are too short and I had to extend their reach by adding some double-sided velcro. With that small addition, the car cover does an excellent job of protecting my new Fit."
