Description

Because the nose of your vehicle bears a lot of abuse, it deserves the maximum protection that the Covercraft Full Mask delivers. From the base of your bumper to the leading edge of your hood, this front end mask shields your finish from dings, gouges and other paintjob-marring damages that cost you dearly at the body shop.

Your Covercraft Full Mask is custom designed to fit like a second skin on your exact year, make and model. When the weather changes, the covered aluminum tabs let you fine-tune the tension.

Covercraft crafts their Full Mask from heavy-gauge black vinyl, which is micro-perforated to allow drying while you're driving. To protect your paint from scratches, the inner layer is a soft, non-woven fleece.

The Full Mask comes in two styles. The 1-piece installs in no time, and comes off just as easily when you need to pop the hood. The 2-piece design takes more time to go on, but the hood opens normally. And, both include a 3-month warranty.

Notes

  • The Covercraft Full Mask does not cover the bumper on certain truck models because it would prevent you from mounting lights, grille guards and other truck accessories.

"We had the same car bra cover on the car when we got it. We didn't want so many rock chips and also to keep the bugs from not getting into the grille. We had the cover 6 yrs so it did us well. We were coming home recently in a bad wind and rain storm and the wind ripped off two of the straps around the wheel well. Had we known the wind would be that strong to do this we would have stopped and checked them. We could hear something flapping but we thought it was our windshield wipers when gusts of wind would hit the car. "This product attaches using webbing and buckles rather than elastic cords (like LeBra). Over time and in hot weather, the buckles become loose and the webbing relaxes. This requires periodic adjustments to keep the bra tight. Quite a hassle compared to LeBra which uses elastic straps that maintain constant tension."

"Overall installation was somewhat difficult. Being that I am an engineer I was able to figure most of it out. The installation instructions were poorly constructed with very poor graphics to follow. The only problem I have run into is that the top to corners of the bumper piece require the use of sticky back velcro. At first it appearled that the velcro needed to be stuck to the outside finish of the car to get the right appearance. Well this was not going to happen. So I attempted to stick the Velcro to the inside lip under the hood. I cleaned the surface as suggested and the velcro wouldn't stick. So I'm thinking about some alternative methods of installation that would be more robust. Overall the covers look good and appear that they will do the job that they were intended for."

"Got the mask and at first was a little apprehensive about installing it according to the instructions. The intimidation proved to be unwarranted. It installed perfectly. (Note: You need to use a little common sense when you do it, otherwise it can appear a little confusing. Best done in hot weather, so that it stretches enough to wrap around inside of fenders.)The illustrations could be a little more realistic, but other than that an easy installation and an excellent product and results. I recommend Auto Anything anytime you purchase for your car."

"I purchased the same type of mask for a 2005 Corolla. After hours of figuring out how to put it on, it was okay. It was easy to take on and off for car washing. This new one went on better because I know how. However the hood part is not really right. The latch for the hood is in the way of the cover, no sticky anything can fix this. Just watch your fingers and hope for the best when you close the hood. The botton half is okay, however the sides were it goes under the bumper is not secured good do to the plastic part of the car hangs down and you have to squeeze you hand underneath there to put in the strap, not going to be as easy to remove each time the car is washed. Overall okay for the price."
