Colgan Bra for Scion xB - Yeah for No Bugs!

"I decided to get a car bra because I make the trip back to my parents house about 45 minutes away at least once a week. The 2008 Scion xB is a great car, but it was hitting every bug on the road and it was annoying having to clean the front end 2-3 times a week instead of once a week. It was impossible to keep clean on road trips and I'd already gotten my first rock chip on the bumper. Something had to be done, and clear bras are just too expensive for me at this point. Installation wasn't terrible, but the directions for installing the top half of the two piece was confusing due to the instructions, which read like a choose your own adventure book, "If A, then B. If B, skip C and go to D or E, unless F, then go back to B." There are no personalized instructions for your particular car, although the bra is custom made for that vehicle. All I needed to know what what holes the top hooks needed to go to underneath the hood, and I thought they were underneath the dampening material, which they were not. *rolls eyes* The bottom was pretty self explanatory and went on quickly without need for the instructions, except for two "hooks" on the side wheel wells, which just aren't tight enough. You're supposed to adjust them with pliers, but I have yet to find a position that is tight enough to hold well. The rest hold nicely though, so it seems to stay all in place pretty well. The bra definitely does it's job, looks nice and is easy to clean. The mirror bras were effortless and work well as well, and I have received several compliments on them. I had worried about them blocking the like from the side mirror signals, but the mesh allows the light to shine through pretty well. :) Honestly I really think that this item will pay for itself in protection from bugs, road spray and rock chips."

2008 Scion Car Bra

"This product is quality and style. I appreciate how well its made, materials and craftsmanship and how well it fits the car. It fits tight and doesnt vibrate or flap around even without the air dams. I think it looks great on the car and it also provides great protection to the Scion's blunt front end that catches alot of bugs on my commute route. I also was very pleased with the customer service I received when I called in to get info regarding available possibilities for my car. Thanks Auto Anything."

"The product was over all good.The fit leaves a bit to be desired. The area under the front screen does NOT properly cover the front end. I thought the purpose was to cover the exposed frontal area."

Lexus Bra

"Easier to attach and remove than I anticipated. However, pictures in the directions could have been better. Looks like a cheap printer was used. I did notice a slight vibration in the steering wheel at high speeds (70 mph). It started right after attaching the bra, but I wasn't sure if it was the bra or a wheel balance problem. After I took the bra off, though, the vibration was no longer evident."

MY NEW BRA - LEXUS

"Really pleased. Went on easily, fit perfectly and looks like it belongs on the car rather than some I have seen that look "homemade". The instructions could use a little polishing. If you never have put one of these on before, some of the clips on stretch bands on the hood unit are left to the imagination. (they go through the grill and hook on holes on the bottom side of the hood.) Should helpsave the front end from the samd blast you get on New Mexico highways - and yes we are a State in the USA!!!!"

Good fit and Looks Good

"The Cogan Original Car Bra arrived in only a few days after the order. It was about 113 degrees where I live and it was nice and pliable which made the installation a breeze. The only issue was the hood section. It said to line up the leading seam with the edge of the hood but there was gaps on the under side of the bra even though it said it would conform over time it is a concern. It appears to be stable in its position with the hood closed but when you open it there is saging in spots where the hood line goes up. The corners fit well and the entire outside of the bra sits flat and has no movement during drive times at any speed. The instructions did fail to tell you where to insert the stiff tabs for under the head lights but I was able to figure it out since there wasnt a lot of options for placement. Overall I love it and it looks fantastic."
