"I have the colgan bra on two other cars and except for the fact that one came with no cut outs for fog lamps, I have been very happy with fit and finish.On the PT cruiser,the hood portion looked as though it was not sewn correctly around the leading edge and the fit around the headlight openings looks questionable, but may correct themselfs over time.Overall it is a good quality product."

"I am very impresse dwith the quality and fit of this item. It really dresses up the car, no issues installing. If your car is low to ground and subject to rocks and stuff chipping the paint on the front end this is a mist."

"I was very pleased with my Colgan carbon fiber bra. I have searched high and low for a car bra to fit my vehicle. When I found out AutoAnything could order me a bra I immediately ordered one. It was so easy to install and plus it looks great. I know my cars paint job will be safe from bugs and pebbles and best of all no more paint chips. Thanks Jon"

"I love it. It covers the critical areas, yet does not dominate the appearance of the car. In fact, it enhances the cars appearance. It fit like a glove and is easy to put on and take off. I am up lifted."

Colgan Bra for BMW 330 XI

"Beware BMW users! AA website doesnt allow users to order Bras w/ cold wthr pkg. After waiting 6 weeks, I had to return it. There was no opening in the bumper cover for the headlight sprayers. Rather than return I opted to save my new paint job and use the top piece without the bottom. My other option was to return the full bra and get the hood cover only- another 5 weeks. Good quality cover- slow service by Colgan. Helpful AA service."

"I ordered 2 Bras for 2 Volvos. The fit was O.K. The hood portion of the 2 piece bras was not a complete fit. The front corners of the hood did not go all the way flush. I will wait to see if after stretching and loosening the leather like material that it will hopefully seat itself all the way flush. For right now, it is O.K."

"I honestly don't like bras on a car but had to get one because my previous car looks like it was sandblasted. Not knowing much, I just chose the Colgan because it was in the mid price range. I would have to say I am very happy with the fit and finish. It couldn't really fit any better than it does, and it's easy to put on and take off. I would totally recommend it. By the way, this is a real review, and the car I'm referring to is a 2002 mustang GT."

"As other reviewers said, throw the instructions away and just put it on yourself. If I can do it (a girl) anybody can. I love the look of it and I know it will protect the front of my car from rock chips. Great buy!"

"I was a little upset when I had to wait a couple of weeks, but the wait was worth it. It fits snugly which really makes it look sharp with no wrinkles or sags. The exterior is smooth and the inside is easily cleaned with a soft brush. 100% satisfied."

"The bra fits like a glove and looks very nice on the car. The only thing negative that I can say is that the installation instructions were vague and print was blurry. Other than that it is an excellant produst and I love it."

"The fit and finish is superb. Installation takes under 2 minutes, removal half that. In my opinion, it was money well spent to protect my vehicle. I am very happy with this product and the customer service I recieved as well; I had to have my order rushed at the last minute and it was delivered according to my new schedule. Perfect."

Mazda RX-8 and the Colgan Bra

"The finish of this carbon fiber bra is beautiful. The design of the bra itself is anything but. First, there is no cut-out for the Mazda logo on the nose, that many other bras I've seen have. Second, it is nearly impossible to get this bra to fit symmetrically across the front; it is always biased to one side across the grill of the car, showing one side edge of it, and covering the opposite edge. It may take 3 or 4 days before the bra stretches out to pliable and movable, despite 30 minutes in 90 degrees of sun before installation. Stay far away from this brand for your RX-8!"
