"My wife and I own three automobiles, an '05 GTO, an '01 Explorer Sport Trac, and an '02 MB C230 Coupe. All have Colgan Bra's. I've tried others but find that the fit and durability of the Colgan Bra's to be the best in the industry. Others have warned me about potential paint damage from auto bra's, but with proper care "rubbing" can be held to a minimum. Even on the rare occasion when it does happen, it can be easily polished out. The positives far outweigh the potential negatives."

Colgan Car Bra Review

"The Colgan Custom Bra arrived very quickly, not as long of wait as expected. Have not been able to put Bra on vehicle, as the front of the SUV has a 1-piece spoiler/air dam across the entire lower front fascia connects to both whell wells creating hardened mud flaps on the front of the wheel-wells. Also the spoiler piece is about 4 to 5 inches deep, making it impossible to attach the lower front clips as well. So I have a $150 auto Bra that I cn only use the hood piece. Not very competent for a "CUSTOM" car Bra."

"Overall I am pleased with the Colgan car bra. However, it doesn't have the precise fit as the one I got for my 2004 Prius. Additionally, it didn't come with the front plate area covered which I got on my other one."

"This is a great bra and since owning other Colgan Bras, it was very easy to put on without instructions, but it was very tight and it took a little bit of extra strength to get it on. It looks great, though and certainly worth the extra effort."

Colgan Black Finish Original Car Bra

"We used an OEM Audi car bra for a few years, but, even when new, it fluttered at moderate highway speeds no matter how many times we re-adjusted it. Also, the materials fell apart after only a few years of conservative use. By comparison, the Colgan car bra fit like a glove: no fluttering even at high speeds; obviously superior materials; more intelligently designed fastening system requiring no alteration of the car like the OEM car bra and also fewer attachment points; and more thoughtful and purposeful seam placement. I do not see how anyone could improve upon Colgan's design, because the only engineering trade-off appears a necessary one: Colgan intentionally designed its bra to fit very tightly to avoid the fluttering flaw in the OEM design. Thus, getting the bra on initially takes a little more muscle than one would ordinarily expect."

hard to fit

"Quality of the product is excellent just as those I have purchsed in the past. The only difficulty I had was trying to stretch the bra on to my car. I had to remove the license plate cover due to the fabic not being cut properly. I did contact Colgan for some mounting assistance and their rep forwarded some helpful pictures. It took quite a bit of effort by me and my son to finally get it attched. The hood cover is o.k but the corners do not fit snugly, aliitle bit of gathering but exceptable. Maybe if it's on for a while there will be some give."

Colgan Z3 Bra

"Got my colgan bra for my Z3. Fit is outstanding. Looks great but I dont like those triangular bumps on the top of the hood. They must have some purpose to keeping the bra from fluttering. If there is no use for them they should go. I am pleased with it however."
