Colgan Original Car Bra

"I purchased the bra for a Nissan 350Z. I previously had a Nissan 300ZX, and had purchased a Nissan bra, which fit my vehicle smoothly an tightly. The Colgan bra does not have the precision fit nor tightness of my previous Nissan bra, so much so that I initially did not think it could even be put on! Ultimately, with assistance, I was able to get it on the vehicle, but where it should attach to the side of the car (in the tirewell area), it is a flimsy, loose, crumpled (I hesitate to say) 'fit.' Additionally, there is a cord with hook that apparently goes somewhere in the tirewell area, but there was NO place on my 350Z for that, excepting looping it over a screw! I felt the same way with the hood portion: the cord and hook did not seem to fit anywhere. Ultimately it was stretched to fit in an area with a hole, but I remain convinced it should not be placed there! In summary, I don't feel that the specs of my specific vehicle were assessed in detailing this bra, and I remain very frustrated and disappointed in the 'fit,' and concerned about the implications. In all fairness, I have not yet contacted Colgan to pursue resolution."

"I found the bra to be very well constructed,durable material, the fit is amazing and it does not deter from the cars appearance. It went on very easy and quickly on my first attempt. It was well worth the cost to protect my vehicle exterior. I am happy I decided to buy it."

Colgan Black Finish Bra for 2001 Celica

"The finish and look of the bra are excellent. However, the fit is not quite right. In one place where a stiffener is supposed to fit, there is a bolt or screw that won't allow it to go in place. Other than that, I am satisfied with this bra."

rubber cover on clips

"The bra fit great, a bit tough the first time but easy after that. My only complaint would be that the rubber covering on the clips that hook into the hood (holes)peeled off after two or more applications. Good buy for the price I paid $300.00 for a bra for a jeep 10 yrs ago. Thankd for having a good product available for a good price.. John Goodwin"

"I received my Colgan bra as promised. It is a special order item and took app. six weeks. Application instructions were easy to follow and the bra fit like a glove. I own a Nissan Frontier and the Carbon Fiber look really sets it apart. I would recommend this product to everyone looking for protection and stlye for their vehicle."

"Fits good,looks good on a black truck. Also If it is truly made to order, I would have them sew a screen or clear plastic over the driving light openings, as they catch small pices of sand and rocks and it collect at the bottom between cover and paint and it chews at the paint."

"The Bra is OK, it just needs to have a few factory modifications done to it .The three tabs ,between bumper and grill need to be longer , they will not stay in place .There needs to be a tab between the bumper and headlights to keep the Bra from riding up on the headlights .These modifications would make it look and fit better."

"I bought this bra for my 05 Expedition for a trip from Chicago to LA. It kept the bugs and the rock chips off! It was easy to put on and take off and made cleaning the vehicle so much easier when we got home. Thanks for selling a great product."

Looks good but I worry about the tabs

"The Colgan Bra fit my 2005 S2000 quite well. It was difficult to push the tabs between the headlight assembly and the bumper cover. I worry about the paint finish where the tabs go in. I wash the car every week. That means the bra should come off 52 times each year. Over the life of the bra that paint is going to take a lot of punishment. We'll see."

"When the directions say the bra will appear to be too small, they are not kidding. When I began installation, I was sure I got the wrong model bra. I kept working on it and after about 20 minutes, I had a fantastic fit. This thing looks great and fits better! No flapping nothing has come loose, no problems at all. A great product."
