Unfortunately, this purchase was not what I had expected. Having owned a CoverCraft mask in the mid-80s for my little red sports car. I actually bought this "bra" for practical purposes. The front of my SRX was starting to get pitted from hours of winter highway driving for work. I definitely did not buy this for "style". I liked the look , installation, instructions, & materials. However, at 67mph precisely, the hood protector would start to flap. At 72mph the flapping was so bad that I would have to slow down to 45mph to get it to stop. So my highway driving was reduced to 60-62mph. I tried for weeks to tighten, stretch, uninstall, reinstall, wax under the hood, etc. But 67mph = FLAPPING.
On a $50k SUV flapping = heart palpitations.
My 1986 mask never flapped.
