"The wax beads up well. I never had to keep my wax in the refrigerator though. The ebony works well with the black paint on the car. Better than trying to get to all of the dried white wax that gets stuck in the cracks and crevices."

"Well after testing this on 3 black cars i must say its ok ,but honestly it doesnt work any better than the carbon zymol . save your money."

"This is my second purchase of Zymol Ebony, this time for a 19 year old Volvo Bertone coupe I recently acquired. Although the car was in remarkably good shape for its age, I wanted to protect and enhance the finish. Zymol once again did not disappoint. It is quite expensive, but a jar goes a long way. I refrigerate the leftover wax for the next time. While the directions clearly state to not allow it to dry, I find that overnight drying provides better protection, albeit at the expense of requiring more elbow grease (but I need the exercise). How? The amount of residue, while less than other brands when buffed off soon after application, is far less the next day. The product winds up somewhere: on my car's finish, not the buffing cloth! I would recommend Zymol, despite the high cost. It is worth it. Happy motoring."

"I HAVE A BLACK CAR THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER NEVER TOOK CARE OF. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE WORKED VERY HARD TO GET THE PAINT BACK TO ITS LUSTER WITHOUT PAYING 4000.00 FOR A NEW PAINT JOB. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS TO EVERYONE I KNOW. I WILL BE BUYING MORE FOR MY HUSBANDS WHITE TRUCK. EXPENSIVE BUT WELL WORTH IT. EASY TO USE."

Zymol is one of the best

"This wax filled all the small light colored pits on the hood of my BMW. The shine is top rate. It is easy to apply and remove and leaves the surface with a slightly moist feel. Would recommend it for any black surface that is non-clear coat."

Phenomenal Wax!

"This is the first time that I've tried the 'ebony' version, having previously used the 'carbon' on my black 996TT. (A can lasts forever since it's best not to use too much.) What can I say? The finish has a deep glow and I love the way that it beads up when I wash it. I usually wax every time I wash the car, so that's every two weeks. The finish is smooth and very glossy. And I get tons of complements from almost everyone who sees the car. A good friend has a new dark grey 997TT that just doesn't seem to get noticed as much as my clean black beast! It is, however, like other Zymol products a bit of a pain to wipe off, but it's definitely worth it."

"The Zymol Ebony wax made my 2001 Black Lexus look new. On of my friends put some on his Black Mazda which had a dull look to it. After appying the Zymol Ebony wax you could see your reflection clear. Like looking into a mirror. I would buy this product again."

"I used a pre cleaner and then a mild polish before I applied the Ebony Wax, but this stuff really works. It hides all the minor blemishes and puts a mirror finish to the paint. I used it on my 1994 Nissan 300ZX and it looks just like it came out of the showroom. Its easy to apply and buff, and a little goes a long way. Its a little pricey, but for a black finish there are no more swirls."

"i recently purchased this wax it is the best wax that i ever used.this wax goes on like butter it is so smooth and easy to take off. the only problem is it is a bit harder to take off if you let it dry.overall it is the best wax a bit costly but it is worth the price."
