As a person in my early 70's I was not sure I wanted to take on this much work myself or pay to have it done. After considerable thought I decided to go for it. The kit was kinda basic, but after adding a few items and several days of part time work my wife said "The car never looked so good". Got a 38 ft. motorhome and just might give it a go.

The whole process was a big improvement to my cars finish. The repeated use will get easier over time with practice. I used masking tape on the panel seams and this was a resl time saver in the long run. Next time i will buy some masking paper for the windshield cowl area to minimize overspray. Would recomend to a friend who wants a shiny car.

I purchased your products because I like the detailed explanations I found while watching the YouTube videos. The results were fantastic, however I was disappointed over two missing components. Being a novice, I didn't think about each step as thoroughly as I should have, however I would expect the kit to come complete. There were no microfiber towels nor were there any buffing bonnets. At least one of these items should have been in this starter kit. Also, there was no DVD.

This is a great starter kit especially for a first timer. I was scared to damage the paint but the DVD and handbook gave the confidence to "just do it". I did make the mistake of putting on too much wax which resulted in more elbow work to take it off. Overall I am very happy with the kit and will be ordering Griot's Paint Sealer and Machine Polish 2 for my other car (severe scratches and stored outdoors).

I had just bought a 2005 Expedition that was black in color. It had many scratches and looked in poor condition. So I purchased this product and went to work. I was amazed at how easily it turned my vehicle to almost showroom new. I have now purchased the 3" machine to do more detailed work. I am so satisfied with Griot's products...they are well worth the money.

do they make a lambs wool or simaler product to remove wax or cleaners instead of doing it by hand?
