A pleasant surprise

I ordered this without the hose attachment. Twenty dollars more for the hose attachment was too costly for an automobile vacuum. The hose would make it more maneuverable , because the canister is about a foot long and doesn't bend around the front console, steering wheel, drive shifter. It does a good job picking up pet hair too. Order with hose attachment for easier access especially in the front seat.

The vacuum works well and really does what it is supposed to do but the way the top attaches to the base is a huge design flaw in my eyes. When your using it, any pressure put on the suction end and the head of the vacuum disconnects. It's not attached like a cover to a jar, but its a connect and twist on these two little pins which can't handle any pressure. I suppose if you bought the hose that comes as an attachment, the pressure would be on the hose and not on the top of the vacuum.

It suits the purpose. The sucion was not as strong as I woul dhave liked but it seems to do the trick. It also didn't have a thin enough attachment that fits in the areas between the seats where you need the most attention. Overall, happy with the look, cost, and function.

I gave the vacuum to my son as a birthday gift, so I don't have any idea how it is going to work. He has two small children, so keeping the car clean is why I gave it to him,I hope it will performe as advertised, will see. Lamar Thiel

A bit more cumbersome than anticipated for working in tight areas; attachments must be seated tightly or they come loose; recommend purchasing the short hose as an option.

I bought the Metro 500 hand vacuum 12 volt to clean my car - since I only have 1 outlet on my garage ceiling, thought plugging into the lighter in my car would be quicker & easier than dragging my house vacuum out to the garage. I love the fact it is metal but it just did not do the job for me. Suction was not good enough and plastic attachments kept falling off. So I am sending it back.

I bought this vacuum to clean my car when im not home. Very powerful sucks up everything the vacuum is made real well. It did not come with a hose had to buy one from store. The the dc plug broke after first use had to glue it and sand it back smooth. Cheap plug on the end and also the vacuum does not shut off when you press the button you have to hold he button it's always on when it's plugged in besides these minor flaws it's a good product and does the job

NEAT PACKAGE THE CORD IS LONG ENOUGH TO DO A WAGON IT WORKS WELL ON NORMAL MESSES BUT WE OWN TO LONG HAIRED MALMUTES. AND IT HAS A HARD TIME WITH THAT. BUT SO DOES A SHOP VAC. IF YOU EXPECT THIS TO DO THAT KIND OF WORK YOU ARE WAY OFF BASE. WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED TO DO IT DOES WELL. 2 WORDS IT SUCKS! AND VERY WELL AT THAT

This vacuum does not suck

Great portable vacuum for the car. For travel and use before a car show this is a must. I do not know how many times I have been traveling and needed a vacuum for the interior and had to put it off till I got home. Got this as a Christmas Present and love it.
