the top is not a custom fit but I didn't pay for a custom fit top so I'm satisfied with the fit and the quality of it its for a 1991 Miata

I believe I got exactly what I ordered. It is large enough to cover my vehicle and has elastic on the front and back to help keep it in place. It does not have any gromets but then they never said it did. I have added some to help keep it in place during periods of high wind. We are in the mountains, so this matters. I think it will perform well.
