It took several weeks to get the cover, but I guess that's understandable since it is a custom fit. The side mirror pockets are a little too big, which gives them a "loose sock" appearance. Also, it's just a little too long in the back, so the elastic trim temds to pull the cover under the back end of the car, which gets that part of the car cover filthy.

Don't know yet how well it protects against UV, as that is a 10 yr test, and I will have no control sample. I am trusting them on that. However, I can attest to the ease of installation and removal. It is also more flexible and takes up less precious trunk space than I expected.

The cover is used on a 2011 SILVERADO. It looks good and water rolls right off of it. Only down fall I have seen so far is that it sags pretty bad in the bed of the truck. Going to come up with something to support it so it doesn't collect leafs and water. Overall is a excellent cover

The cover is well fabricated and fits great. After reading the reviews about it not being waterproof, I was expecting sub-par performance with rain (here in southern California, that wasn't a big issue, I was more concerned about UV protection.) I'm happy to report that after our first minor storm of the season, the cover performed perfectly, the car was dry. Yes, some water got on the car, but not through the cover or the seams, rather only from shaking the cover to dry it before storage. A++

The title of my review shouldn't be construed to think that I'm disappointed in the cover. It's very easy to put on my car, and it's a great custom fit. The only downside to it was the value for which I purchased.

Does your cover offer any type of hail protection or is it more geared towards sun/rain/snow?
Answered by Nathan S. — Nov 09, 2012 10:31 AM
Hi, The best protection is a garage. I don't believe any car cover can protect against even bb-sized hail.

Thank you for your recent question and for choosing AutoAnything. Both covers would come with the antenna grommet affixed already for you.

Judging by the picture, it looks like this cover includes mirror pockets. Is this the case for all vehicles?

Yes, if your vehicle has factory installed mirrors, the cover will have them sewn in.
