Description

I had never put a car cover on before but the instructions were very clear with the Covercraft cover and the fit was excellent (I ordered one wih mirror pockets they fit perfectly).

Easy to use product.   The only improvement i can suggest is maybe a couple more tie-down grommets on the side (so you can get the stress off the one that's present)

I have a 1993 Mustang Convertible the fitting wasn't as perfect as I expected to be.  It wasn't a tight fit.  I owned it for the past week and I had to recover it 3 times already due to the wind blowing it off.  so that's why I say it wasn't a tight fit.  I brought the specific direct fit to my car.  as far as for the weather it didn't real rain yet.

The Covercraft Evolution 4 car cover is exactly what I expected, and I'm sure it will work just as well as the other five I've purchased over the past 20 years. Fit my vehicle perfectly as described.  Looks good.  A little tricky to get on with only one person but possible.  That is the only reason I rated it good instead of excellent for installation.  Used sharpie markers for a little custome artwork on the cover, in case it is stolen.  Happy with the purchase!

Not my first Evolution 4 car cover, I buy them for all of my cars (convertibles), primarily for sun protection. I get about 36 months out of them in constant use, due to the intensity of the mid-atlantic sun. I check the web each time I need to buy one and Auto Anything consistantly has the best deal. The fit is good, snug enough that it requires a methodical approach to putting it on the car which is good, it doesn't blow off and the cover truly looks custom fitted, not an embarrasment to have in the driveway.  Evolution 4 is not a compact cover for storage, think rolled up sleeping bag minimum.  I usually loosely fold and toss it in the trunk.  If the cover is wet, there is no problem with putting it back on the car to dry later, they readily 'breath'. Two of my older convertibles would normally experience some water infiltration in heavy rains but with the Evolution 4 cover in place that never happens, it's all wicked away thus I will routinely put the cover on a wet car when its raining. Never any issues with paint discoloration or mildew. I thoroughly detail each of my cars at least twice a year and wax more frequently.  Between that and the Evolution 4 car covers, they all look like new. More importantly, the convertible tops have not shrunk, faded or cracked and the seams have held up as well.
When used in a garage, it's thick enough to provide excellent protection from scratches and bumps.  Recommended.

I recently purchased this car cover after my puppy shredded the last one I purchased.  This cover is heavy duty for sure, but not exactly the custom fit that I expected.  You have to punch a hole for the antenna and there is no "pocket" on the trunk for the satellite antenna.  It will suit my purpose, but I wish the fit was a little better.
