Description

Covercraft’s WeatherShield HD Car Cover is ideal for protecting vehicles in intense-sun climates and coastlines—this new fabric really shines for long-term storage.

The WeatherShield HD Car Cover provides UV opacity as it repels water, blocks dust, sap, bird droppings and even industrial pollutants. Yet it’s breathable so moisture and heat can escape before they harm your precious finish.

The specially formulated base fabric delivers superior tear and tensile strength. Up to 40 computer-controlled proprietary processes force polymers inside the fabric to bond to each individual thread and fill the valleys between the woven fibers. The result is amazing elasticity that blocks moisture and dirt, while maintaining Covercraft’s WeatherShield HD fabric breathability.

Your Covercraft WeatherShield HD Car Cover is backed by a 5-year warranty.

this is my third covercraft cover. they must have a time machine in their factory because they offer a 5 year warranty on this cover, and 5 years and one day the cover self destructs, all the stitching desolved... oh well on a postive note i have not found another cover that will last 5 years

Car cover fits well. I've been using a Covercraft HP cover now. Car is always outside. HP cover only holds up about 2 years. Hopefully the HD cover will hold up longer.

I read nearly every review of this product prior to my purchase. Most of the complaints seem to be about the cover not being thick enough. Once I received my cover, I was actually very pleased with the thickness and quality/strength of the cover. Like most said, the cover fits like a glove. It has both rained and snowed on the cover. I can assure you nothing is getting through the cover and on to your car. I can tell you that wind IS going to get under the cover. You absolutely need and have to have the gust guards or you are going to lose the cover. I live in a safe neighborhood so I didn't feel a need for the lock and cable. Though, I do use a bungy cord to connect where the locking cable would be used to help with the wind. The cover goes on easily as long as it is not windy. Like everyone else, I still feel the item is overpriced but am very satisfied with the quality of the cover. If you love and want to protect your vehicle this is no doubt the right cover to get. Don't forget, buy the gust guards.

My new weathershield HD cover fit perfectly and looks great. It's good to know that the very first car I ever owned is now protected from the weather.

This is the third Covercraft Weather Shield HD I have owned. After three years, several seams opened up. I emailed the CoverCraft company. They asked me to send it back for their inspection. Several weeks later I received a brand New cover from them. I could not expect better service from a company. I paid $19,000 new for the 1990 VW Vanagon. Last summer my VW mechanic offered me $23,000 for it and it had 155,000 miles on it. I know the cover had a great deal to do with the protection. $300 to $400 is cheep protection when a product last that long. John

it is pretty expensive but very good product. After rained, I looked underneath the cover, and it looked very much dry. Definitely recommended.

You get what you pay for these days and the fabric and thread on this cover look to be much better than the lower priced cover so I am hopeful that this cover will last for many years.

When I was researching car covers for my FJ Cruiser I was looking for a really heavy duty cover since I live in mountain country. Covercraft Weathershield listed 2 covers, one being the HD, which I bought. It was the heavier of the 2 and it cost quite a bit more. Judging by the description, I thought this cover had the quality I was looking for, especially at the price I paid, but I don't think it warrants being listed as HD (heavy duty). It is pretty light weight. The stitching on one of the grommets is already coming apart. Time will tell if this cover can perform like the description read.
