"I recently purchased a the cover for my 2007 SR5 Tundra. It seems to be doing a great job. My truck is a open bed and my only concern is when it rain's the cover holds the water over where the bed is and I'm hoping that it don't strech it enough where it will tear the cover. I try to remove the water off of the cover as soon as possible so the weight will not be pulling against the cover. All in all, I'm glad I purchased the cover."

"I have used Noah covers in the past. I do not use a car cover often since my cars are garaged, but do use them when when I have to have the cars sitting outside for a few consecutive days. The Quick Silver is much lighter than the Noah so it is much easier to store. The storage bag that was inlcuded is a great convenience and works very well. The cover is relatively easy to install. There are protection pads around where the locking cable cutout grommets are located...a nice feature.
Door ding protection is minimal compared to the Noah. I do not have enough experience with this cover yet to judge the dust and wet weather protection.
Overall I am very satisfied. If you want a good cover that stores into a small space, I would recommend Quick Silver."

"I don't have a covered parking space, and I take the train to work, so I didn't want my car sitting out in the sun all day long. It seems to do a pretty good job keeping the heat of the car, and judging by the amount of bird poo and other gunk on the cover, it's helping protect my paint from all kinds of nasty stuff. The cover fits nicely and seems quite well made. It can be a bit of a pain to put on and take off, but that's really just because I'm lazy, not because of any fault of the cover. This is a good value if you keep your car parked outside for extended periods of time."

"I reviewed the car covers on your websigte and picked the Quicksilver; it was neither the most or the least expensive.. When I received it I went out to install and was very satisfied with the way it covered and looked. The only complaint that I have is the straps that go over the tires were fitted with all FEMALE ends which makes them useless.
Overall I rate Autoanything excellent; I have bought 3 Colgan bras and this cover and am quite pleased with your service.

"My neighbor said the aliens must have landed when he saw the Quicksilver on my 80 Mustang GT the first time.
Overall I'm very pleased with the cover. It's almost waterproof, doesn't fly off the car even without the included straps. I live in Metro Phoenix, AZ and lately we've had a number of 110+ degree days. This cover does a much better job of reflecting the heat instead of absorbing it like my other car covers do. We are in the middle of our monsoon season as well and the car has stayed dry even with driving rains and 50mph gusts.
The only issue I have with it is actually one of it's strengths, ironically. It's very lightweight and very much like parachute material in its texture. It stays on the car with 50MPH winds but if there's a 5mph breeze and you've decided to take it off the car you're going to have a bit of a fight getting it off the car without it hitting the ground. The wind can catch it once you've freed it from the car and can cause it to billow like a sail. It's almost impossible to roll it up like other car covers. But it's so lightweight you can literally ball it up, throw it in the trunk and it's good to go the next time you park.
This is the second Quicksilver car cover I've bought with the first covering a 1995 Pontiac Formula for the past 1.5 years. That vehicle is stored outside under another quicksilver cover and it's always clean and spot free no matter what the weather brings. That's why I bought one for my Mustang.
One note, I actually tried another car cover made of Evolution 4 material and it started to decay after 8 months of use. I know that won't happen with the quicksilver.
Thanks for a great car cover alternative!"

"I would recommend the QuickSilver Car cover to everybody. It fits wonderfully on my 2006 Mustang Coupe and the car stays very dry even during the heaviest rains. My previous Noah car cover was terrible at keeping the water out and always left a white film on the car body and windows. The QuickSilver goes on and off easily, covers the body down past mid-point on the tires and I doubt I would ever need the extra straps. It really does what it claims and is worth every penny."

"Very nice cover and fits good. Repels water and dirt very good. Very light, but this makes it harder to put on and take off sometimes since it slides off the car easily. Like most covers the weakness is the antenae hole, if you need one. It comes with a stick on reinforcement patch but it is too thin and does not stick as well as it should. My hole is starting to fray slighly. The company is sending me another for the outside, hopefully that helps. Still overall it is a great cover at a good price."

"I HAVE HAD THE COVER FOR ONLY A SUMMER MONTH, BUT AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT. IT KEEPS THE CAR COOL DURING THE WARMEST DAYS AND BLOCKS ALL FLYING DEBRIS. THE STRAPS WORK VERY WELL, BUT ONLY NEEDED ON VERY WINDY DAYS. THE CUT WAS APPROPRIATE, MAYBE JUST A BIT TIGHT, IT WILL PROBABLY LOOSEN OVER TIME. THE COVER IS VERY LIGHT WEIGHT, I AM CURRENTLY HAVING A SECOND GARAGE BUILT, AND I WILL USE THIS COVER INSIDE ON THE CAR FOR DUST CONTROL. I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE COVER AND WITH THE SERVICE OF AUTOANYTHING."

"I recieved my car cover and read the installation guide and it was so easy and quick to install that I was impressed right away. To be honest I wasn't sure about the bright silver color but it does a great job of keeping the heat out and I live in a triple digit heat area, so it helps tremendously and keeps it clean. We had a few days of high winds and it stayed on completely, did not even budge, so it was well worth the price!!"

"The QuickSilver car cover works great. It's a good fit on my Audi TT, if a little tight, but that keeps me from having to tie it down. It's a light cover so putting it on in the wind can be tricky and you need to get it on the rearview outside mirrors before getting to the front and back. Overall, I'm very satisfied."

"The Quicksilver cover over the first month has been good at protecting the vehicle's finish and has an excellent appearance on its own. Value for money is excellent. However, the cover can be a bit tricky to install without help, as it easily slides off the vehicle. One must also be careful of the "custom fit" characteristic of the cover. My unit is so snug that it takes folding the side mirrors in and stretching rather vigourously to get both cover pockets over the mirrors. Overall, however, it appears to serve its purpose well thus far and reflects sunlight quite capably."

"The seller's description of the QuickSilver is very accurate. It stops the rain from getting on your car and somehow breaths to prevent condensation from being trapped between the cover and the paint. It works so well, that to use the car just after a rain, you have to remove one side of the cover and hold it up to allow the water to drain off. The only thing I don't like is the antenna hole patch, it's just a stick on piece of fabric instead of a heavy plastic grommet like some other covers. I removed a grommet from an old cover I have and installed it on my QuickSilver. Now it's perfect!"

"I live in South Texas where temperatures regularly exceed 90 degrees F. During the week, I ride the bus, but park at a park-and-ride, so my 2007 Civic is in the sun on average for about 11 hours a day while I'm at work. I have a front window sunscreen, and crack the windows slightly, but the car was still getting very hot inside.
I have owned other types of car covers (e.g.: Noah, Evolution) for other vehicles that I have owned, but this car cover seems to work very well for my present needs. It lowers the inside temperatures, and provides an extra level of security (I got the lock and cable system; see commentary below). The QuickSilver is not heavy like some of the other car covers that I have owned, and it very easy to install due to the cover's weight.
Overall, although I have only used the cover for approximately three weeks, I am very pleased with the cover because it keeps the Civic cooler, and the quality, as well as the fit of the cover, is exceptional.
My only beef: the lock that came with the cable broke after only 3 days. I realize it's just a cheap lock-and-cable system, but the lock fell apart after only minimal use. I didn't contact AutoAnything, and I'm sure they would have replaced the lock at no charge, but I didn't want the same lock so I purchased a Masterlock as a replacement."

"I'm using the car cover to keep my 2006 Jetta from the effects of the sun here in Florida. The cover fits extremely well I especially appreciate the elastic on the front and rear of the cover. When I first put the cover on the car I thought stretching the cover over the mirrors was going to be a problem until I realized that folding one of the mirrors back helped to ease the cover on."
