"It has only gone through a light rain so far but all seems good. The cover fits very well. I was happy to see the built in straps so the wind does not blow it off."

"I am mostly satisfied with the QuickSilver Car Cover. However it is a bit large or baggy on my 1996 Mustang. Plus for the radio antenna you are told to cut a hole is the cover for it to go through. Was not impressed with that idea, so i removed the antenna."

"This car cover sucks! It's not weather proof. I live in california near the beach and every morning thast I take it off, it's wet and so is my car underneath! Bummer!"

"It is ok. Kind of too light so on a windy day you would have trouble putting it on. Doesn't really fold up as small as it says it does though. Does a decent job."

"Recv'd the QuickSilver car cover for my 2002 Toyota SE (w/spoiler) a couple of weeks ago, easy to put on (except on very windy days), and fits great. Besides the elastic around the bumpers, add'l front/rear nylon straps are provided, which along with the under carriage strap (use a nylon rope) holds the car cover in place quite well in windy conditions. To put on, mirrors first, then front or rear, and to take off, in reverse order. Not used long enough to know how well it'll hold up in sunny Hawaii."

"I just purchased a 2006 Mustang GT and a Quicksilver cover. The cover fits beautifully and is very easy to put on. I may have given 5 stars, but it has not been battle tested yet (no heavy winds, rains, etc.). I believe the cover will perform when the time comes."

"We've had the cover a couple of weeks and so far it's pretty cool. It compacts down to a size that makes my wife jealous because her Noah takes half her trunk. If this holds up, we'll switch all of our covers to the Quicksilver. It held on through pretty good wind, but we have the cable on it. The ends held without blowing off."

Good results with QuickSilver

"I had an Acura brand car cover on my car for the past 2 years. It literally fell apart at the seams. Additionally, water and dust came right through the cover, so what good was it? When it became completely useless, I found this QuickSilver cover and liked the lifetime warranty. I've had it only a week so far, but it is doing a much better job than the old cover. It has rained but my car stayed dry and clean. It is amazingly lightweight. I have run into a minor problem putting the cover on the car...the name "QuickSilver" is appropriate. The cover tends to slide off one side while I am trying to secure the other side. This has improved with practice and quick-footedness! With 2 people, its a snap. I already had a cable from the last cover, but was disappointed to find that the new cover's holes were too small for my old cable. I should have ordered a new cable. Even without the cable, though, this cover fits snugly and I don't worry about it blowing off. Definitely worth it!"

"The cover is light, easy to put on and take off and folds into a small package for easy storage. The only reason I did not rate it a 5 is because it has not rained since I purchased the cover so I have not observed how it performs in those conditions."

"All in all this is a great cover. It fits my car perfectly, going all the way down and covering the tires. The cover is easy to put on and take off by one person (if you follow the directions) and it folds easily into the carry bag which is included. The carry bag (with the cover inside) also easily fits into the back of my Vette even when I have the glass top in the back, takes up very little space. Only downside after a few days of rain a small amount of dust and dirt tends to settle on the car and it needs to be wiped down really well or washed."

"At first experience, both covers appear made to a high standard of cutting, sewing, and fit. The material seems as advertised--lightweight but dense enough to resist sun, moisture, and most ambient dirt. Seams appear stout and up to the lifetime guarantee. I'm well pleased so far."

"The cover was a perfect fit for my Sequoia. It has not been exposed to rain yet, but seems to be doing a great job of protecting from the Sun and dirt, which were my main concerns. I have not had to touch it since I first put it on. It has stayed perfectly in place."
