When winter rolls into town, big brown bears aren’t the only beasts hibernating. Fire-breathing iron horses also take naps until spring thaws out the iced-over highways. For the safest long-term cycle storage, wrap your prized chopper inside the Rhino Shelter Motorcycle Storage Bag.
Unlike traditional slip-on motorcycle covers, the Rhino Shelter Motorcycle Storage Bag completely surrounds your bike from the bottom of the tire tread to tips of the handlebars. Its 360° coverage delivers maximum protection against moisture, corrosion, dust, bugs, and oxidation. Rats and mice won’t transform your cycle’s seat into their new nest, and rust won’t turn your chrome accents into spotted eyesores.
Rhino Shelter constructs your Motorcycle Storage Bag from heavy-duty 8 oz. polyethylene fabric that’s CPAI-84 fire rated. What’s more, you also get a handy storage bag that holds your Rhino Shelter Motorcycle Storage Bag when not it use. And, it comes with a powerful desiccant bag to soak up any internal moisture. 1-year warranty.

I was worried that the bike would not fit. It definitely does with room to spare. Zipper can be a little stubborn, but it might have been me rushing things. Would highly recommend to others!

The description says "Boasts a 100% water proof construction with covered zipper flap" but notice that it also says "Use your motorcycle bag to keep your bike safe indoors (warranty is void when used outdoors)". I covered my Harley up a month ago outdoors on an uncovered deck hoping that this would protect it. Opened it today to go for a ride and there was at least 2 1/2 gallons of water inside. As long as it doesn't rain indoors, this should protect your bike - it won't work outside. BTW, in never rains indoors here, so I guess my sofa and TV are 100% waterproof too.

My only complain is that it was a bit difficult to zip at times because the zipper would catch onto the reinforced areas that contain the velcro tabs. It would be a good design move to make the tabs a little bit smaller to keep out of the way of the zipper.

Will this cover prevent mice from getting in bike during winter storage?
Answered by Nathan S. — 7 hours 25 minutes ago
Hi, While it's a great deterrent, I can't guarantee that a determined mouse won't chew through it.

Will these bags really keep the vehicle 100% moisture free even during a extreme temperature change?
Answered by Nathan S. — Nov 08, 2012 1:06 PM
The cover will keep rain out, but it's not air tight. Moisture will find its way in via the air.

How does this cover seal up? Does it use a zipper, or does it use the same style of seal as found on lunch bags, etc.?
Answered by Rob F. — Oct 22, 2010 4:32 PM
Hey Gord, This Rhino Shelter uses a big, gnarly zipper to keep your bike safe and sound. Thanks, Rob
