OverDrive PolyPro III Car Cover Customer Reviews

No matter how carefully you park outside—avoiding bird-infested trees, sloppy parkers and sprinklers—the enemies of your paint job are waiting patiently to pounce as soon as you turn your back. Since you can’t exactly bring your garage with you wherever you go, the next best way to preserve your finish is with the OverDrive PolyPro III Car Cover.
Unlike some flimsy car covers out there that are stitched together with a single, flimsy piece of fabric, your OverDrive PolyPro III Car Cover boasts three layers of grime-fighting material. Not only does it repel water like an oily duck, but it also has the strength to stand up against scorching UV rays, harsh dirt and bird dribble. And, it’s thick enough to help fight off scratches, scrapes and dings inflicted in parking lots and in your home garage. All the while, its soft inner lining gently caresses your finish like a cotton diaper on your first-born’s bottom.
Taking your OverDrive PolyPro III Car Cover on the road is a cinch. It comes with a handy storage bag that fits perfectly in your trunk or back seat. Plus, if your car is covered and you need to get in and grab your sunglasses, it’s equipped with a driver’s side zipper for fast access. The PolyPro III Cover is available in a range of universal sizes to fit most vehicles, and it’s backed by a 3-year warranty.

I only use the cover when my car is in the garage. The problem I have is that the garage roof drips when it rains out or when snow is melting so I needed a cover to protect my vehicle from any stains that might leach thru the concrete ceiling. I don't use it outside so I can't tell how well it works out in the elements. I bought the mid size sedan size and it fits my 2013 Honda Accord fine.

I bought the size that was one larger than what it stated. The car is 120 inches, I believe, so I bought the size that was up to 130 or so, not the 120. It fit perfectly. Make sure you are on the large/too big of size. A larger cover can still fit a smaller car, but a smaller cover is useless. It has a tie / rope that goes under the middle of the car and tightens down the center. The ends are elastic so that it goes under the bumpers. May not stay on in a high wind. I Recommend this.

My 1st & only car cover, so nothing to compare it to, that being said...It fits on my Chevy Nova well, covers it easily and completely. I thought it would be thicker, and softer on the inside though. My car is garaged kept, just wanted to prevent scratches and dings while stored. It'll protect light scratches from accidentally brushing against car, but door dings and stuff like that, probably not. But for the price, guess it's not bad.

I like the material; the fit was a bit tight for the 2013 5 dr Impreza; but it works. I like that it is lightweight and has a storage bag.Have not yet used it a lot, so I don't know yet aboout long lasting.

this cover came very quickly as everything i have ordered from autoanything, it fit my 1972 bronco very well and look great the only down fall was that about 6 months after putting it on i noticed that the back corner has a hole starting to wear in it. i did not exspect it to last forever but did hope it would last longer than 6 months. the cover is used outside 24/7 if you plan to use it inside as a dust cover or outside every now and then it shoudl work well.

A 2005 mustang is (187.6 in.) in length so "Mid-size Sedan" option would fit your car best.

Is the cover machine washable?
Answered by Michael K. — Apr 04, 2012 4:45 PM
Hey Michael, we contacted OverDrive and they recommend you clean your cover with a soft brush and lukewarm water, or machine wash in COLD water. However, DO NOT USE SOAP as it may remove the protective coating added by the factory. Line dry only; do not machine dry.
