Not a Perfect Fit

The fabric in the Noah car cover is clearly superior in terms of protecting my car's finish from UV rays, weather and other hazards. However the fit for my 1977 VW Beetle is not quite right. I have a standard Beetle sedan and ordered the cover for that model. However the cover leaves a few inches at the back and the lower part of the front fenders exposed. Perhaps I should have ordered the Super Beetle model.

This cover fits well, is easy to install and has a good heavy quality feel to it. I wish it had a hole for the radio antenna and was available in a tan colour.

I like the weather resistance of teh cover so far. I have had it for 2 months and so far, the paint is dry underneath with no condensation, so it looks like it is water resistant while still breathing

No mirror pockets

My new Covercraft Noah cover for my 1969 VW Beetle is a mixed bag. The fabric and build quality are excellent but there are no mirror pockets. I have a lesser quality cover that does have mirror pockets so don't tell me that you can't get a cover for an old bug with mirror pockets. Why Covercraft made this decision is not clear to me. I have to loosen my side mirror with a wrench and rotate it in to get a good fit ... and even then the cover doesn't fit as snug as my lesser quality cover.

I have a 1979 Alfa Spyder and keep it outdoors during the Convertible Season. I wanted a cover that will protect the vehicle from the elements in New Jersey including pollution, heavy rain and direct sunlight. The Noah cover accomplishes this extremely well. This is my second Noah (first lasted 5+ years). The length is perfect. I was a bit disappointed in the depth of this new cover v. the first one that I purchased. It does not completely cover the lower body by about 4-5 inches on either side. This exposes the lower body panels to potential chaffing by the securing tie. With that small quip, I highly recommend this cover to anyone who wants a premium cover at a good value through AutoAnything!

This is the third Noah Covercraft car cover that I have purchased. Here in the South, it keeps the interior of the car cool in summer months and prolongs the life of the interior vinyl. It also shields well from tree and bird debris. I have gotten about 5 years service out of the previous covers without any maintenance or washing. They have improved one area in that they have included a grommet so that you can make a hole for the antenna. This keeps the cover from tearing while wet or iced. Overall, I am very happy with this cover.

The fit is generally OK, but rides a little high on the car, exposing lower portion of fenders, etc.

What a cover! What a price!
