Almost Perfect
Reviewed by Steven S (Setauket, NY) Reviewed for a 2015 Porsche 911 — Apr 24, 2017 7:15 AM
Really impressed by this cover with one exception, as others have noted there is a lint problem. I have 2015 911 GTS with black top. even with black top and CC black cover still a big lint problem. I fixed by buying 2 yds of non-"linting" stretch fabric $25 and lay that down on soft top before covering w CC. I may sew it to underside. Covercraft should integrate this fix into their cover, id even pay an additional $25..then it w b Perfect! Free advice...take it CC
Porsche 993 C4S black car cover

The fit is decent, but not perfect. The quality is good and the material is excellent. If the fit followed the lines of the car, I would rate it near perfect. The seams do not line up with the roof lines nor does it fit the rear spoiler very well. I like the black color and material, but, for not much more money, I would probably buy the Porsche brand cover instead of the Covercraft brand.

The quality of this cover is pitiful. When i called to order a cover for my E9X M3 i originally called to order a coverking cover. I made the mistake of letting my sales person talk me out of my original choice and into the cover craft. The coverking actually has a pattern specifically for the M3. The cover craft is for a 3 series car which is slightly different as we all know. Some of the seams on the cover are off as much as 8 to 10 inches from side to side. The mirror pockets hang like small burlap sacks. Paid about $35.00 more for this cover than i would have paid for the coverking. Very unhappy with this purchase. Paid over $300.00 for this cover. Wouldn't give $100.00 for it.
Using the wrong color thread on a black cover

Why would they use white thread in areas of a black car cover. Cover fits great, would look great except for white threads in area of car cover around mirror pockets and a couple of other places

Having to store my car outside for a few months before I can get it into a garage left me looking for the best cover I could find. Covercraft was recommended by some friends and I'm glad I listened. It costs a pretty penny but you get what you pay for.
