Nice cover looks great. The car is outdoors under a carport.the new cover replaces a coverking cloth cover. Old cover left a lot of dust on the car, even after repeated washing the amount of dust was still prevelant. The storming cover does not appear to be a fabric that will get dusty like the old cover.Time will tell

Bought a replacement for my old Coverking StormProof, which after five years of sun exposure in LA had just about had it. Elastic shot, badly faded (red), rather dust-permeable, and seams coming apart although fabric itself intact. Guess you can't ask for much more than that, or for a much better recommendation. A bit expensive, but worth it. I'd buy one again. In fact, I did. Cover is very lightweight, easy to handle. Can be a bit tricky to put on a really clean, freshly waxed car since both cover and car are very slippery. Over time will get faded and mildewed (or is it mill-dude?), even in a dry climate like Los Angeles. Although you can wash it in a home machine (I have a rather large LG front loader), it really doesn't get that all clean, and a commercial laundromat machine would probably be better. I have pure cotton covers for my garaged cars, and a Stormproof for my other car that lives outside . That cover is also five years old, but is in better shape than the one I just replaced likely because I'm not as religious about using it, so less sun exposure. No experience with other fabrics. For indoor use, I'm not sure Stormproof is worth the extra $$$$. My cotton covers are pushing 20 years old and only just beginning to lose it. For outdoor use in relatively mild climates, think it's probably tough to beat Stormproof.

To install the plastic housing pieces around the puncture hole to put the antennae through I had to lay out the cover on my workbench and use a rubber mallet to pound the two plastic pieces together.
