This new cover replaced the old Stormproof I bought for my Vette almost 10 years ago. They are great quality, lightweight and very durable. And they do not scratch your finish. They can be used indoors or out. A must for the Florida sun! I have one for my Challenger too.

Very disappointed, yes I read the description that it offered only minimal protection against door dings and hail but never expected it to be so thin it wouldn't block the sun's damaging rays :( Only reason I didn't return was that I didn't wanna lose the 15% re-stocking fee.

This car cover replaces a StormProof that had been in constant use for ten years, so the immediate choice was to get the same cover. The StormProof fits better than any of the other covers we tried since 1994, and when we're too lazy to use the center anchoring cord, clips on the back of the front and rear bumper--and the mirror pockets--keep the cover in place during most wind events. One detail is different: The pocket for the Mercedes star isn't as deep and puts a minor strain on the star.

Pretty good cover but the passenger side back of the cover is made wrong so either that part or the front driver side will often come off and sometimes the whole cover will be lying on the side with scratches on the car from the lock. The cover itself is really good, the workmanship is really bad.

So far seems good. Fit is good. Probably would be better with a soft lining. Haven't had much bad weather to test waterproofing and durability.

I've had the cover for a couple of weeks now, here are my impressions. For reference, I've used Covercraft Noah covers, Covercraft HP, Covercraft Evolution cover, and Coverking Silverguard plus. The Stormproof cover looks well-constructed, a little better on the seams and fit than my Covercraft HP, which it resembles the most. It is fairly thin, which in covers means easier to store and handle, but offers less protection against dings. A little tricky to install in wind, like all covers.
