The Coverbond 5 cover has been on my Chevy S10 Ext Cab 4x4 ZR2 Pick-up for over 2 months now. The cover has stood up to every type of weather the Hawaiian skies have thrown at it so far. Intense sun, monsoon rain, and 40+ MPH wind gusts along with the continuous 20+ MPH Tradewinds at my house. The cover has not blown off even partially, the elastic at all 4 corners keeps the cover snug front and rear (I put a bungy cord between the side lock grommets as added wind protection). The mirror pockets help hold the cover on and also fit perfectly. The trucks stays completely dry under the cover even after heavy rains. The underside of the cover has a soft layer like the consistency of a paper towel, not as soft as flannel. That is OK as this is not a show truck, the cover is to protect the truck interior & paint while it is parked in long term outdoor storage. The cover is bulky, but not overly so, and the bulk helps keep it in place in the wind with minimal flapping. When not in use I put it inside the bed under the bed cover. If you needed to fold it up neatly everyday to drive the vehicle, that would be a bit of a chore. Since I have a hard bed cover, the rear bottom edge of the Coverbond 5 cover just barely goes over the center edge of the back bumper. It fits fine in the front over my high profile countored Bug Shield. For the first month, the cover was "off-gassing" during hot sun, giving off a strong "new car" type smell. It is holding up very well in the Hawaiian sun.
A great heavy duty cover for outdoor vehicle protection while being stored or not driven regularly. It is well made and still looks brand new. There are only 4 seams that run front to back, and those are quadruple stitched. The side / center lock grommets are covered on both sides by material and the actually attached to a separate flap of material inside a hidden pocket - nice quality touch! There is not a grommet for the antenna (nor one included to make your own antenna pass thru) so I just unscrewed my antenna and leave i
