This cover goes right down to almost the bottom of the wheels which is great in this boiling Florida sunshine which heats the paint on the car too much. The cover keeps the lizards off too (which poop on the paintwork and leave tracks) and all other bugs and animals. Also, during the very heavy rains, and even though the car is under a carport (we don't have a garage) the mud is splashed up onto the bottom of the doors and flashing making the car very dirty. The cover prevents this and keeps the car clean. The dirt doesn't seem to stick to the cover and when dry, it is easily brushed off. This cover is new and therefore, a little hard to handle as it is still fairly stiff. It is becoming softer with use and is getting easier for me (5ft 5in female) to get it over the SUV and also take it off without dropping it on the ground. Just takes practice and I am getting the hang of it.
