Now That's A Car Cover!

Reviewed By LT. COL. CHRIS L (Aldie, VA) Reviewed for a 2006 Infiniti FX45 —5/30/2009 7:56 AM

Love em but gotta tell why. I don't have a garage and have been using the $40 COSTCO bought car covers for the past four years for both my cars. I have replaced each car cover I purchased from COSTCO two times over those four years. Yes the inital up front cost was cheap and the covers worked OK but these covers were the strap-on-type and to prevent scratching to the paint job on my Infinity FX I had to strap the covers through the wheel rims to hold the cover in place. In any real windy weather the sides of the cover would billow up working the cover over the paint job like a washing machine on a high agitation wash cycle. I had to do something. I had seen the Evolution on line and though more costly than the $40 kind, I wanted to give it a try. Success!! It not only does the custom fit make a huge difference rather than the universal version, dosen't rock-n-roll over the paint in windy weather. What's more, it's a 'breeze' to put on the car and take off. I should have bought the Evolution car cover years ago. It has made my day! Thanks for developing such a great product.

Not for strong wind

Reviewed By Eugene E (PINON HILLS, CA) Reviewed for a 2017 Infiniti QX30 —5/16/2017 3:52 PM

Very nice cover, fits very well and does the job it's meant to do. I also purchased the gust guards,as the area I live in can get very windy. Don't waste your money.Pretty much useless in winds exceeding 20 mph. The gust guards held for awhile, but with sustained winds of 25-35 gave and the entire cover was about to go on a journey to who knows where. As a result I will be using the cover in calm conditions ONLY.

No Complaints, Does Its Job

Reviewed By Byron P (Chino Hills, CA) Reviewed for a 2016 Hyundai Elantra —5/19/2017 2:29 PM

Ordered with basic lock kit - no complaints. With my "luck", it hailed and was extremely windy about 2 weeks after, but the cover held on really well. My car was surprisingly still clean from when I washed it just before putting on the cover, and the lock kit held down well even with the strong gusts. The only thing I'd say is that moisture gets trapped and can create water droplets if you take off the cover fresh overnight, but I don't expect many covers to be able to stop this anyways.
