Covercraft Weathershield HP Custom Car Cover Reviews

Best of its type

Reviewed By Joseph H (Yonkers, NY) Reviewed for a 1988 Mercury Colony Park —4/22/2016 5:02 AM

Covercraft custom covers made in the USA are all quality products. They make most custom covers for the other sellers. HP material is the lightest and thus most compact for storage. The downside is it offers little "ding" protection. It is excellent at keeping water and other stuff off your paint. For me it has the best combination of features. I have been using this material on several cars over the last 12 years. I use the covers occasionally, not everyday. I have yet to tear any of them.

Love this car cover

Reviewed By Jeffrey K (Clovis, CA) Reviewed for a 2001 Mercury Sable —8/29/2015 12:10 PM

I previously had 2 Block-it 380 car covers from a different company. While I liked the fit of the Block-it and how well it breathed, they began to tear and disintegrate after 2 years. The Ultratect cover is a fabric, very good looking, and fits nice and tight. It's more difficult to install/remove but once you figure it out it's fine. Only had this for a month so we'll see about the longevity of this cover in due time. So far, I love this cover.

Excellent Fit and Quality

Reviewed By John W (Sacramento, CA) Reviewed for a 1967 Mercury Cougar —1/11/2014 7:26 AM

I'm very happy with this cover. I've used the same style on several other cars and this one fits and functions just as well. The only thing I'd improve is the placement and size of the rooftop antenna hole. (If the opening at the base was slightly larger, it would be easier to get it over the antenna when the cover is cold.)
