Car cover review

Reviewed By Ray S (Huntington Beach, CA) Reviewed for a 2011 Scion xB —1/2/2014 9:32 AM

I am very happy with both of my car covers. I will say though that the one I bought for my Chrysler 300 is great, the stitching around the right front area has started unraveling. Not sure how to stop/fix it. I know it is out of warranty but I think it should have lasted better than that. I hope the new one on my Scion XB doesn't have the same problem. They both fit like a glove so that's great. Ray

Material is stiff and make it hard to install

Reviewed By Robert M (Huntington Beach, CA) Reviewed for a 2010 Scion xB —5/20/2010 4:16 AM

The material is stiff and fairly ruff on the inside that goes next to the paint. If there is any wind at all, it makes if very difficult to put the cover on the car. It looks good and fits really nice. It also does not block the rain very well. Just a slight sprinkle the other day, and the car got wet. Not as water resistant as I would expect.

QuickSilver Car Cover for 2008 Scion xB

Reviewed By DANIEL D (BROOKLYN, NY) Reviewed for a 2008 Scion xB —9/15/2009 2:09 PM

I just put the car cover on my 2008 Scion xB yesterday... so far, so good. I was able to install it by myself in just a few minutes. It fits like a glove: the dimensions are correct, there are pockets for the side-view mirrors, and it also goes low enough to cover most, if not all, of the height of each of the tires. It's a tight-fitting cover, too. There are additional straps and a cable & lock included, but my guess is that you could probably do without those and still find that the cover stays on the car even during pretty windy conditions. The cover is thinner than I imagined, but as long as it doesn't tear and it does what it claims to do for as long as promised, I'll be completely happy with it.
