how not to do a car cover
I have a Maybach 57s which has a hood ornament. Then cover was designed without any consideration for the pointed ornament and would have quickly torn if used as shipped. Auto Anything said it was not returnable and Covercraft said at my expense I could ship the cover after marking it for correction. Poor incomplete design by Covercraft and not returnable. Shame on both of you.
Overall pretty good
This cover would have gotten a 5 star review, but the antenna pocket is slightly off. It doesn't affect the coverage, just pulls it forward a touch. Makes the cover funky looking at the back. The front is flawless, the mirror pockets are fairly accurately placed, but a little big. Overall the antenna pocket looks slightly phallic, and the car looks like it has rabbit ears. These flaws don't affect the usefulness of the cover, which is peerless.
Not bad, but...
We have two Pontiac G8's. I bought this and a CarCapsule. The materials in the Maxpider are good, but not as good as the CarCapsule. They set up the same, taking the same time to set up and inflate. Both work as advertised. The price is close to the same. If I bought another car storage system, it would be the CarCapsule.
