Coverking Car Cover Lock & Cable Customer Reviews

Every time you cover up your ride and walk away, it’s natural to look over your shoulder and wonder whether your car cover will still be there when you get back. Maybe a big gust of wind will sweep through and whisk it off to the land of Oz. Or maybe some parking lot pirate will plunder it from your Plymouth. The risks are real, but the solution is simple: secure it with a Coverking Car Cover Lock & Cable.
Like a heavy-duty bicycle lock for your car cover, the Coverking Car Cover Lock helps keep your cover from sneaking off while you’re away. Simply loop the car cover cable through your car cover’s grommets, close the all-brass car cover lock and you’re set. What’s more, your Coverking Car Cover Cable and Lock are backed by a 1-year warranty.

I purchased this cover for my son because he has to park his car in the driveway. When the sprinklers come on the water gets the side of his car and leaves hard water spots. This cover does an excellent job at preventing this and also keeping the sun and dust out.

I have owned 6 car covers and this one is one of the worst (it's similar to a universal car cover for $45). This cover feels rough to touch (similar to cardboard) and somewhat stiff. The way it was folded was easy to unroll and install. The fit is very tight and does not cover the front bumper completely. It has two mirror pockets (too large for the truck) and a hole for the radio antenna (bad news if the vehicle is outside). I use this cover indoors; it will not do well outside - very disappointed. The lock for the cover cable is cheaply made (waste of money).

I live in a subdivision where the houses don't typically have a garage and more often than not, not even a covered car port. Such is the case with my property. The pine sap, maple sap, and bird droppings have all taken their toll on the appearance of my other vehicles. I was looking at a cover that was reasonably priced and afforded protection from tree sap and bird poop. The Coverking Coverbond 4 certainly exceeds those requirements. The fit, finish, and quality exceeded by expectations. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality cover for their vehicle.
