Coverking StormProof Car Cover Customer Reviews

Coverking scoured the globe for 15 years, seeking a mill that could make the perfect all-weather car cover fabric. The result was the Stormproof Custom Car Cover, in both name and performance. With an unconventional natural weave of microscopic yarns made exclusively in a small location in Japan, Coverking has achieved a cover nearly impervious to rain, snow, ice and extreme sun.
What's even more amazing, the Stormproof Custom Car Cover fights all of the elements without needing any chemical treatments or coatings. This means your car cover performs the same great paint-protecting duties for years-not months. And, the tight weave is still highly breathable, allowing all trapped heat and moisture to escape.
As if there weren't enough features for one fabric, the Stormproof material is completely paint-safe. Plus, the cover is lightweight for ease of handling, folding and storage. Your Stormproof Custom Car Cover comes in a host of solid and dual-tone colors and is backed by a 1-year warranty.

This cover is tool for the job. I purchased another cover from a different company, at a lower price, and was sorely disappointed with the product. after returning the product for the third time for various defects, I requested , and received a full refund I then applied the refund towards this cover, and have been well pleased thus far.

The cover looks great, is made well, and fits perfectly. However, I live in a windy area, and it is not designed to stay on in even moderate winds. The mid section has two grommets for a locking cable, which I used to attached a bungee chord under the car. No other grommets have been sewn into the cover, so I added bungee chords over the front and rear bumpers and hooked them under the car. The cover now stays on, but it makes uncovering and recovering more of a chore.

the cover for my 2000 firebird fits very well. The pockets for the security tie down cable are well made to protect the finish. Colors are true to the sample pics. Has worked through some frog drowning rain. haven't had any snow yet, thank god.

Well formed cover that fits like a glove. Ease of installation and over-all durability seems to make this cover stand out from other "paper-like fabric" covers. They should guarantee performance for longer than a year.

Recenty purchase my second storm king. I don't have a garage and was tired of cleaning the cars all the time only to have them covered in pollen and if course spots after it rains. Was impressed with the first one so I bought another for my other car, a 1992 mercedes sl coupe. EAsy to cover and sheds rain great. Car always looks the same as when it was covered.

Nice cover looks great. The car is outdoors under a carport.the new cover replaces a coverking cloth cover. Old cover left a lot of dust on the car, even after repeated washing the amount of dust was still prevelant. The storming cover does not appear to be a fabric that will get dusty like the old cover.Time will tell

Love the cover, but hard to tell front from back, and inside -vs- outside, especially if it's dark when I get home. They should have sewn some sort of tags on the various sides... would make things a lot easier. Other than that, the cover fits great!
