Covercraft Weathershield HP Car Cover Reviews

Reviewed by gary r (Myrtle Beach, SC) Reviewed for a 2006 Volkswagen Beetle — 2009-07-26 21:37:17

I bought this for my woman to protect her car's paint and top. I've had a covercraft myself for the past 13 years, at various times for each vehicle - one size has fit many. It's the best cover I've owned and I wanted something highly durable for weather, fit, and easy for her to deal with. This was it. It costs $ but it's worth it because it saves the vehicle's exterior and lasts. Buy the bag, cable, and lock too.

Coverking StormProof Car Cover Reviews

This car cover is easy to put on and take off. I bought the optional car cover bag, which makes it quick to tuck away in the luggage compartment. The quality of the cover is better than I expected. The stitching is first rate and the cover is a perfect fit.

Covercraft Sunbrella Extreme Sun Car Cover Reviews

Reviewed by Mark W (Lakewood, WA) Reviewed for a 1993 Mazda RX7 — 2006-07-29 00:42:27

We bought this cover after researching various sites selling such products -- our son is taking his heavily modified RX-7 (FD3S) to Scottsdale, AZ, where the heat and sun are intense. We are very impressed with the fit, color, locking capability and general craftsmanship. It is truly a wonderfully made product!

Covercraft Block-It 380 Car Cover Reviews

The cover is very well made and fits very nicely, but the opening for the antenna is too small. My Durango has a fairly large antenna centered on the back of the car. The furnished grommet is not large enough, it should have a pocket sown in for the antenna to fit into.

Covercraft Ultratect Car Cover Reviews

Reviewed by George T (Bossier City, LA) — 2011-05-03 20:36:04

I purchased this cover for when my car sits outside while at work. I have used other types of covers in the past for the same purpose and feel that this is definitely less bulky than the Cover Craft cover (Kimberly Clark type material) that I had before. Overall, easy to install although I did have to use the additional cords/cables to keep the cover on during a windy day. If I had the chance to design this cover, I would incorporate an elastic cord or stronger elastic around the edges to keep the cover more secure. I have only one "mild" complaint thus far. On the first couple of uses, the cover left some oil-like residue on my car. It was easy to wipe off with a simple quick detail kind of spray but it may turn some people off. Also, note that I have a gloss black car that made it likely more apparent than it would be on a lighter colored car.

Coverking Autobody Armor Car Cover Reviews

Excellent fit, very soft underneath so it will not scratch paint. So far seems to be totally dustproof. I use it indoors so I'm not able to rate its outdoor performance. Not bulky making it easy to store. I wanted the best cover available and it seems I made the right choice.

Coverking Coverbond 5 Car Cover Reviews

Reviewed by Dale M (Kapolei, HI) Reviewed for a 1998 Chevy S10 Pickup — 2012-02-24 16:17:20

The Coverbond 5 cover has been on my Chevy S10 Ext Cab 4x4 ZR2 Pick-up for over 2 months now. The cover has stood up to every type of weather the Hawaiian skies have thrown at it so far. Intense sun, monsoon rain, and 40+ MPH wind gusts along with the continuous 20+ MPH Tradewinds at my house. The cover has not blown off even partially, the elastic at all 4 corners keeps the cover snug front and rear (I put a bungy cord between the side lock grommets as added wind protection). The mirror pockets help hold the cover on and also fit perfectly. The trucks stays completely dry under the cover even after heavy rains. The underside of the cover has a soft layer like the consistency of a paper towel, not as soft as flannel. That is OK as this is not a show truck, the cover is to protect the truck interior & paint while it is parked in long term outdoor storage. The cover is bulky, but not overly so, and the bulk helps keep it in place in the wind with minimal flapping. When not in use I put it inside the bed under the bed cover. If you needed to fold it up neatly everyday to drive the vehicle, that would be a bit of a chore. Since I have a hard bed cover, the rear bottom edge of the Coverbond 5 cover just barely goes over the center edge of the back bumper. It fits fine in the front over my high profile countored Bug Shield. For the first month, the cover was “off-gassing” during hot sun, giving off a strong “new car” type smell. It is holding up very well in the Hawaiian sun. A great heavy duty cover for outdoor vehicle protection while being stored or not driven regularly. It is well made and still looks brand new. There are only 4 seams that run front to back, and those are quadruple stitched. The side / center lock grommets are covered on both sides by material and the actually attached to a separate flap of material inside a hidden pocket – nice quality touch! There is not a grommet for the antenna (nor one included to make your own antenna pass thru) so I just unscrewed my antenna and leave i
