The Canvas Jacket employs 600-Denier polyester fabric with a special waterproof backing for blocking mud, dirt and moisture from reaching the carpet. And, the polyester top layer is treated to resist shrinkage and fading.

Load-up your SUV with the rear seats up or down—the Canvas Jacket even covers seatbacks to give you the maximum covered cargo area possible. And, the Velcro fastening system keeps the Canvas Jacket from shifting or bunching.

"Since my dog does not tend to hunt and hop in all muddy, this avoids having to inhale plastic or rubber odors for months until they age. The fit is excellent and easy to wipe out or pull out when needed."

"We had purchased a Canvasback cover for our 96 Explorer when we purchased it. When we bought our 2008 Ford Taurus-X to replace the Explorer we also bought a Canvasback for the rear. Looks great, and we look forward to the same great durability. The only improvements would be 1) the openings for the seat latches should be a little bigger to allow for clearance when the seats are latched, and 2) there is a handle for raising the third row seats from flat to seated position that is covered when the Canvasback is in place. To raise the seat you need to peel the Canvasback off the seat and reach under to pull the handle from the back hatch. Not a big deal, but if there was a flap there that would have bumped the rating to excellent."

"The custom fit cover/protectors are great! Easy to install, blend well and provide great protection from muddy/sandy cleats, greasy boots and a bunch of other eeewwws! Only thing that could possibly make the covers better is custom slats for all compartment release handles."

"We made a tactical error in picking the dark interior as owners of a Husky! Nut these canvas covers do the trick for the seatbacks. THey fit well, stay put and made a nice easy to clean surface that doesn't allow the dog hair to stick. Great value and utility for the money. The package even included covers for the small carpeted side panels in the rear cargo area. Bonus!"

"After years of useing hard plastic inserts in the back of our SUV/Crossovers this seemed like a great idea. Items just don't slide around anymore and it sure is easier to install and remove. Great product and must have been custom made because it took forever to arrive!"

"I have searched online off and on for over a year looking at different options for what is out there to protect either my seats or the back of my SUV from my two big dogs (yellow lab and yellow lab/St. Bernard). For the last couple of years, I have settled for one of those back seat hammocks, which was of little help in keeping dog hair off the seats and floors. I'd spend $10 at the car wash after each trip trying to get all the dog hair out of my car. I was initially hesitant to purchase Canvasback simply because the price was so much higher than other options I looked at - mainly the rubber SUV floor mats. But after reading other reviews - and because of the unique feature of Canvasback covering the back of the back seats (and thus protecting my car if I put the back seats down) - I found the best offered price on AutoAnything.com and made the purchase. My Canvasback (for 2001 Ford Escape XLT) was very easy to install. I did have to adjust it a couple of times to get the fit right, but mainly because the velcro would stick before I was ready for it to. Might have been easier if I had another person helping me. Canvasback is a GREAT product! The first time I took my dogs to the dog park, my lab found the only mud puddle in the park, and it I was amazed at how easy the Canvasback was to clean - bucket of warm, soapy water and a scrub sponge."
