"After years of useing hard plastic inserts in the back of our SUV/Crossovers this seemed like a great idea. Items just don't slide around anymore and it sure is easier to install and remove. Great product and must have been custom made because it took forever to arrive!"

Why didn't I find this years ago!?!!?

"I have searched online off and on for over a year looking at different options for what is out there to protect either my seats or the back of my SUV from my two big dogs (yellow lab and yellow lab/St. Bernard). For the last couple of years, I have settled for one of those back seat hammocks, which was of little help in keeping dog hair off the seats and floors. I'd spend $10 at the car wash after each trip trying to get all the dog hair out of my car. I was initially hesitant to purchase Canvasback simply because the price was so much higher than other options I looked at - mainly the rubber SUV floor mats. But after reading other reviews - and because of the unique feature of Canvasback covering the back of the back seats (and thus protecting my car if I put the back seats down) - I found the best offered price on AutoAnything.com and made the purchase. My Canvasback (for 2001 Ford Escape XLT) was very easy to install. I did have to adjust it a couple of times to get the fit right, but mainly because the velcro would stick before I was ready for it to. Might have been easier if I had another person helping me. Canvasback is a GREAT product! The first time I took my dogs to the dog park, my lab found the only mud puddle in the park, and it I was amazed at how easy the Canvasback was to clean - bucket of warm, soapy water and a scrub sponge."

"This is perfect for the SUV owner who uses the fold down 60/40 seats all the time, and often needs to fold down only a portion of the back seat......with the last cargo liner I bought, I did not have that capability, and it was difficult to use it, and have our dogs, groceries, etc when we didn't need the whole back seat down, just part of it. This is awesome, easy to install, attractive, and also doesn't have messy sticky stuff to put on your plastic upper lining of the cargo area. So, overall, I rate it excellent for our use and for the price! Wish I had seen it when we bought the first one, about 2 years ago! Yvonne from Texas"

"Although it's a little on the expensive side, the Canvasback for the cargo compartment of my Mariner looks and fits great. However, the OEM carpet on the floor of the Mariner doesn't allow the velcro to stick properly. I'd also suggest a plastic coating on the material to help keep it clean especially with the lighter colors."

"My husband and I have had SUVs and Labs for 20 years. This is by far the best cargo protector on the market and we've tried several of them. It is easy to install, stays in place, did not wet thru when our Lab puppy peed in the 4-Runner and is very easy to clean!! We'll never buy anything else. This is actually the second one we have purchased so we can have a spare in case of puppy accidents. They fold up nicely and are easy to store. Laurie"

"I purchased my cover for my 2006 Mercury Mountaineer and was happy with the overall experience. However, judging by the previous posts and the picture on the site, I was expecting it to have a few more features. First , the picture ( which is identical to my vehicle), shows that the individual covers for the second row seats have a finished cutout for the fold flat handle with a concealing flap! The cover I received had a rough cut out for the handle without a flap nor did it have a finished black border. Secondly the previous posts boast of the zipper between the 2 third row seats???Not only do I not have a zipper but there is no velcro to hold it in place either!!! The overall fit was just OK for the individual second row seats ( seat behind driver about 3/4 to 1" too big around. The cargo cover fit was excellent. very expensive for a not so custom cover."

"The fit of my cover is good. The only thing I wish would be different it the fit when my back seats of my Tahoe are in the upright position. The cover tends to gap open allowing the hair from my Golden Retriever to get on the back seats. But when laying the back seats down flat it is a perfect fit. Overall, I love the product and will recommend to all of my friends. Chris"

Jeep Liberty Canvas Jacket

"The jacket worked as advertised, was easy to install - only 5 minutes without tools, and looks great. The zippers allowing you to put one part of the seat down while the other stays up are a definite benefit. I bought this since I have a dog and it has made the cleanup of dog hair quick and easy. A great product that I would recommend to anyone."

"The shipping was quick and well packaged. I have leather seats and so I have not been very happy with the fit of the third sea. It has excess and no way to secure it to the seat. It also has no velcro strip gong up the sides to secure it that direction. There is a velcro strip at the tailgate, about 6 inches from the tailgate horizontal and then at the top which with the excess is useless to me. I purchased this product mainly for my dogs but since I can't secure it very well it was an expensive experiment."

Love the canvas

Posted on 01/18/2008 by Nancy R. - 2007 Hyundai Veracruz (Woodbridge,VA)

"I was searching for a cover for the cargo area of my Hyundai Veracruz. You did not have any covers for my vehicle so I chose the closest possible which was the cover for the Pacifica. I love the canvas material and the fact that the covers are for the 2nd and 3rd row. The only draw back is the instructions for the installation of the covers could have been better. I ended up going to the store and purchasing more velcro in order to make the longer middle row cover fit better."

Canvasback for Ford Explorer

"Fantastic! Ford used to make a plastic/vinyl liner, but it has been discontinued. Since I could no longer get a product from Ford, I went searching for a replacement. Canvasback from Idaho is the ONLY vendor that sells a liner that covers the cargo area from the back of the first seat. Much better than what Ford offered. This is a great product if you have dogs."

"The fit and look of the product are great. It matches perfectly to the form of the cargo area. The only complaint is that it did not have openings for the tie downs or for the storage box which makes accessing those parts difficult. I was disappointed as that is what is shown in the photograghs."

Canvasback - 2007 Pacifica

Posted on 11/05/2007 by Michael K. - 2007 Chrysler Pacifica (Flemington,NJ)

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.

"I had a rear gear liner for my previous vehicle. But they didn't make one for my new Pacifica. So I tried the canvasback. Both the rear gear and this canvasback are great- I work as an environmental consultant so I need to occasionally throw some slop in the back of the vehicle and need something to keep the cargo area clean. I had my last vehicle for 6 years and when I went to trade it in I just took the rear gear out and it was as good as the day I bought it. The canvasback I actually prefer to the rear gear. Both are nice and heavy duty material that cleans right off. But canvas back just covers the carpeted areas and so is a bit more fitted and neat looking. The rear gear goes up the sides of the cargo area to cover the plastic bits. I thought I'd miss that but after having he canvas back for a while I prefer not having that. The plastic wipes right up so there's no real need for me to cover it and it just looks much neater and more polished with the canvasback. A couple minor things they could make better- the pacifica like many vehicles has a small compartment under the cargo floor- I keep my towing ball and some cleaning supplies in there so i occasionally want to get in there. The canvas back covers the floor perfectly and sticks down to the carpet with Velcro-like strips sewed in. They hold it in place really good. Bad side of that is when you want to get into the little storage compartment you have to rip it up off the carpet- I'm a little weary the carpet is going to get warn or fuzzy in those areas like used Velcro loops gets over time. Second- the liner is really nice and covers the whole floor. Up the backs of the 3rd and 2nd row seats. The Pacifica has a flap that folds off one of the second row seats so that when seats are folded flat the depression over the center console can be made perfectly flat. The canvasback people even included a cover for that! My minor complaint is the instructions were very generic so it took some trial and error to figure out how to attach it all so the fo"

"The fabric is great! Dog hair does NOT adhere - vacuums up very quickly. The velco works well also - stays in place. However, it does not fit my 2007 Highlander Hybrid W/3rd row fold seat well. Velco strips are sewn where there is no fabric to adhere to and the seat belts on 3rd row interfear with proper fit."
