With messy kids, muddy pets, weekend trips and home store shopping, your SUV’s cargo area needs as much cover as possible. The Canvasback Canvas Jacket stretches over the most carpet area to preserve the condition of your original interior.
The Canvas Jacket employs 600-Denier polyester fabric with a special waterproof backing for blocking mud, dirt and moisture from reaching the carpet. And, the polyester top layer is treated to resist shrinkage and fading.
Load-up your SUV with the rear seats up or down—the Canvas Jacket even covers seatbacks to give you the maximum covered cargo area possible. And, the Velcro fastening system keeps the Canvas Jacket from shifting or bunching.
To match or accent your interior, the Canvas Jacket comes in a variety of colors and styles. Your Canvasback Canvas Jacket is custom-made for your specific vehicle and covered by a 6-month warranty.

My biggest concern was dog fur. The fur still gets trapped in the fibers but much less than the factory carpet. I have stuffed a muddy mountain bike in the back and the dirt gets wiped out easily. I was surprised how well it fit and looked. It is pricey but I like it.

Product as described. Fit my 2013 escape perfect. Great for my 2 dogs. Keeps my back and seats clean of dog hair. More than than I wanted to pay, but turned out to be well worth it.

Works well! Fits good and can stay in place when the seats are up. Sturdy design. Our greyhounds (1-80 pounds, 1- 65 pounds) love it and the jacket doesn't get damaged by their nails. ALso rejects the dog hair they shed so overall we are very pleased!

System fits almost perfectly in the truck. One or two places is a little longer than it needed to be but you have to expect a little play in a hand made cover. Looks great easy to install just peal back of Velcro and push in place. The only that would make this better would be if they had a cover that you could place over the holes left by the 3rd row when it's removed.

It would be nice if it didn't bunch up behind the back seat when the seats are up, but I don't really see a good fix for this. Also, if there was a piece of velcro on it for the back seat straps, that would also be great. Otherwise, fit is nice, velcro fits up nicely to factory seat backs. Covers 90% of back area.

I've had the Canvasback installed in my vehicle for abbout a month now and it is generally a great product. The fit and finish is excellent, matching the contours of my vehicle. The cutouts for the seat releases are right where they should be. The Canvasback is made of a tough material similar to the feel of Carhartt coveralls. It is very tough and easy to clean. The only complaint is that the material snags easy on the corners of plywood and other rough materials.

The cargo liner fits beautifully in my BMW X3 and was very easy to install. It does a nice job protecting my cargo area, including the seat backs. The only thing I might change is to provide a little more traction; my dogs slide on the liner sometimes.

Need something to cover up the rear cargo area or should I say "dog's area" to keep the interior looking new. This does the job. Easy install with a perfect fit. Cleanup is a breeze with this canvasback cover. Well worth the price if you want to keep your interior looking new.

under submodel choices they all list third row seat. our 2010 explorer does not have third row seat so what is the correct order for second row manual folding split seat
Answered by Nathan S. — Feb 11, 2013 11:40 AM
Hi, Unfortunately, the Canvasback Canvas Jackets are currently unavailable for Ford Explorers without 3rd row seating at the moment. We do however carry cargo liners by Llyod which will fit your Explorer perfectly but only cover the floor of the cargo area. If this won't work, you can also sign up for our email list and we can notify you when new products and promotions come out.

2012 Ford Explorer

Hi. Two questions: 1. Will the product change for the 2013 Ford Explorer? 2. When the third row seats are down, will the product covering them be a single piece (as preferred) or split? Both alternatives are shown in the online depictions. Thank you. Paul
Answered by Nathan S. — Jan 30, 2013 2:27 PM
Hi Paul, We are waiting for Canvasback to test-fit a 2013 Explorer and give us word if the 2012 will or won't work. It would be a few more weeks before we know for sure, so bear with us. If the 2013 kit is anything like the 2012, it will be a 6 piece split-kit.
