"Received mirror covers in a crushed box thinking their trash, but when opened they weren't, read instructions and seen from other reveiws they needed more tape, I added more 1 inch wide 3M Red tape where I thought it should be added (at each ends) and dry fitted them first, once I seen where it fit best I made sure to wash and dry back of mirror before applying,just be careful when you place them before pushing them down tight to seal to back of mirror,the first one I did was just a tad off but I was able to adjust enough to get it where I wanted it then I pushed and rubbed with a damp cotten rag to made sure it adhered to back of mirror tight, they were put on a new 08 Deep Water Blue Santa Fe with just a few miles on it so back of mirrors weren't messy yet, But the look is cool by the way I see them and many people have complement me on the look of the truck of how it makes it look custom, and the best part is I only paid about $70. bucks for them,They have been on a couple of weeks now and are still tight as can be, I would recommend them to everyone that wants something to make their ride look a little different from the rest of the pack."

Coverless in Seattle

"Covers were placed on my 2006 F250 extendable mirrors. I recommend positioning the covers a few times before removing the tape backing because only minor adjustments will be possible once the tape is exposed. Also recommended is using some additional two-sided tape strips. I used two additional strips at the top and bottom of each cover, as the mfr provides a minimal amount. You want them to be secure on all sides."

"Mirror covers did not extend out as far as they could of to cover the exiting black mirror covers.Another 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch depth would cover the mirrors.Other than this the installation was easy and they look good."

"These are very nice looking but mine came with a scratch on teh right hand side out of the box. Other than that they are a breeze to install and make the 05 F150 Lariat look much nice."

"The chrome mirror covers look excellent on my truck. They really set the mirrors off and match the putco chrome door handle covers that I have installed as well. The only issue I had was the lack of instructions when applying these. I almost missed removing the peeling of the clear piece of tape that lined the turn signal. Fortunately, before I removed the peel from the 3M tape for application, I place the cover on the mirror to see how it would fit and where I would need to place pressure when applying. Overall, I am very pleased with the chrome mirror covers."

"Double sided tape is no mystery to me. However, after very slow and careful cover installation, I found out that the tape on the passenger side, outside lower corner, did not pull down as the driver's side had done. Now I have regular tape in place sttempting to pull it into place or possible will have to make a very difficult removal and replace the tape and add extra to the corner. As for looks, great improvement."

"Fit well and easy to install, they look good but, they do hold water after washing which blows down the side of the vehicle on the next drive. Only a couple strips of tape to hold em on- Time will tell how well they stay on! Jeff- Evansville, IN."

"Decided to put these on my car. At first i was a little skeptical about putting them on for numerous reaons, but after a hour or so of reading other peoples' reviews i decided to go ahead and order them. When i did i had gotten e-mail confirmations within the same day and i recieved my order in 3 days. Great company that sell, genuine products and give you great descriptions. Anyway putting these on were a breeze and now that i did my car gets a lot of attention from everyone who sees them. Haven't taken it to the carwash yet, but im not to worried."

"I had to get replacement mirrors on my '02 Avalanche, and instead of finding a body shop to paint the mirrors to match the OE mirrors, I decided to get these Chrome mirror covers. They installed very easily and fit perfectly. I've only had them about a month, so as mentioned by a previous poster, I hope they don't fall off one day down the line"
