"Great finish and fit, but complete instructions and a parts list would have been nice. The pre-opened packaging and the parts provided gave the impression that something was missing. No gaskets or spacers to protect the vehicle's paint in some areas, so I had to improvise. Overall, a really nice looking product, and fantastic customer service response to my inquiries and request for additional instructions and information."

"This is not a flimsy plastic product!Nice solid,heavy door and trim piece all in one.Easy installation also.Took me about 15 minutes.Mine is the non-locking door and I like the way the magnetic push to open/close device works.Looks Killer on my new Ram!"

AMI Fuel Door

"I think the AMI fuel door was cheap. Even after several attempts, I could not get one of the four nuts onto the bolt on my truck, the screws holding the fuel door together by itself will not tighten, and the mechanism that holds the door open is pretty flimsy. Won't buy one of these again."

Locking Brushed Aluminum

"The AMI locking fuel door works great. It had a few small scratches on it, but I am pleased outside of that. My truck is universal black and I like the accent it puts my truck. Install was very easy, you just need a 30 or 35 torque head driver to take out your old fuel door. I would suggest this to anyone looking for some security in a big city."

"Originally I ordered the Chrome locking fuel door. After 2 months, the chrome bubbled in several places. I sent it back and now have the brushed metal door. Does not look as good as the chrome, but will not bubble. Locking mechanism is great!!"

"the door and appearence are great, the install was relatively simple, the mounting nuts that "slide" over the factory metal on my Avalanche were ever so slightly too square edged and needed filing b4 an exact fit was made but id say 8.5 outta 10"

"The fuel door is everything you said it was and more. I installed it in about 20 minutes. The instructions were very straight forward and easy to follow. This is not a cheap quality accessory. This locking fuel lid is made of high quality heavy aluminum. Everything fits to perfection and is a great enhancement to my truck."

"The hood has an OEM lock. Why shouldn't my gas tank have a fuel door lock? Use some masking tape to avoid scratching your ride when removing the old fuel door. Two keys were included."

"HELLO THERE, I RECIEVED THE FUEL DOOR. THE SHIPPING WAS QUICK. THE FIRST THING I NOTICED ABOUT THE BOX WAS THE WEIGHT. I OPENED THE PACKAGE AND I WAS VERY PLEASED. THE QUALITY OF THIS PIECE IS VERY HIGH. IM VERY IMPRESSED. ITS NOTHING LIKE THE FUEL DOORS YOU GET AT LOCAL RETAIL AUTO SHOPS. ITS ALMOST 3X THE WEIGHT AND THE MECHANISMS ARE PRECISION.
