"It looks good, but does not fit flush in the space at all points. I've checked it and there are no further adjustments possible. Would have been good to perhaps cover the finger access depression as this could provide leverage in prying off the unit."

"I would like to thank you for a quality locking gas door at a reasonable price.I have only one concern about the lock.I noticed it was the same key as my gas storage locker at work and would like to know if all your doors are keyed the same."

Black AMI Fuel Door for 2005 F-150 Styleside

"The door at first looks appeared to be of very high quality, which it is. The door is flawless, installation is easy enough, a little difficult if you get the locking door as I did. Reaching under the truck to tighten the nut for the locking assembly wasn't the easiest but no big problem. The only things that weren't perfect about this fuel door was the locking mechanism, the lock tab wouldn't close into the assembly to lock, I had to disassemble the lock and turn the tab upside down for the door to lock. Also the door is much heavier than stock so the door sags while shut, not noticable from appearance but you can tell when you go to open it. 8 out of 10. I am satisfied with the product and im sure you will be. AutoAnything is awesome by the way, thanks for the incredible service guys, I hope to buy from you in the future."

"easy installation. nice finish. perfect fit. there is however one problem that should be taken into account before buying. those extra large fuel filling nozzles at most gas stations can and will get severly wedged into the fuel door. i had to search around to find a place that had reasonably sized nozzles to avoid damage to the door. i wish i had been warned of this problem ahead of time. other wise its a really nice add-on."
