"Being a college student, my truck is parked outside every night. The stock 2007 Tundra has no locking mechanism for the fuel door, so anyone can easily get to my tank and possibly poor something into the tank that would damage my engine. Not only does this product protect my tank, but it looks great and it is easy to install, all you need is a screw driver and an allen-wrench."

"Actually I purchased this door for a coworker, He owns a white Dodge Ram. He first bought a Chrome lockable Door and after three months the chrome started peeling. We did some research and found AMI makes a black powder coated door, it has a magnetic catch, easy installation, and powder coating we'll last a long time.I highly recommend AMI Fuel Doors."

"The AMI Fuel door looks great on my 2007 GMC Canyon.
The installation in very easy, but AMI should let customers know they need an ALLEN WRENCH for easier access to special screws. (Maybe they should even supply it."

"I bought this fuel door from you because it was reccomended by a friend of our that also has an SSR. The billet door is very well made and was not difficult to install. I had been looking for a lockable fuel door with the racing car look, and found exactly what I wanted.

"Luckily I am a locksmith because I had to change & modify the cam on the lock or the fuel door would open approx.a quarter of an inch.So after grinding & bending the cam that came with the kit,I gave up & went the nearest lockshop. So,two dollars & three beers later the door looks beautiful & is very secure & does not open or move at all."

"The AMI Fuel Door designed for the 2005 Chevy Colorado is well designed and easy to install. The fit and finish complements the body style of the truck very well. I would recommend this fuel door to anyone looking for accenting their Colorado and adding a little extra security to the fuel system. Thanks Auto Anything for the great service! E. Dallas Texas"

"Great looking fuel door. It was very easy to install, taking only 30 minutes at most. Bought it for my Canyon to give it some security. The lock is secure, and the door is easy to open. It's still easy to fill up, and the new door doesn't block the nozzle at the pump. Overall a great product."

"I opted to spend the extra money on metal chrome instead of plastic chrome because the plastic version was cehap looking. The metal version is as good as I expected. The product is well made and will outlast the OEM version that came with the truck.
Installed fairly easily."

"The directions were good. It was a little tricky getting the screws in. You have to do a little of each screw so it goes on evenly. The holes were hard to line up to get the screws to go in. After a few tries, I was able to get it on. Don't give up. Nice product."

"In January I bought a 2008 Toyota Tundra with "non-lockable" fuel door and gas cap. The dealership doesn't have one--I can't even order one! No local auto parts (via Yellow Pages) stores will have one anytime soon. Googling, I found AutoAnything has a 2007 Toyota Tundra advertised at the best price and free shipping. Mike at AutoAnything's toll free number answered my questions and confirmed that the advertised billet fuel door is the new body style that will fit my 2008 Tundra. Instructions are clear with cautions. I opted for the locking billet door rather than locking gas cap because the Toyota computer system is finicky about gas caps as I learned with my Highlander. Black and chrome door looks great with my silver Tundra; the lock mechanism is sturdy and operates smoothly."

"I had trouble finding the correct model to fit a 99 Jimmy but the manufacturer responed very quickly. It seems several Chevy models fit. I was really disappointed by the fit. It did not sit flush with the bady when installed and was uneven side to side and top to bottom. Not what I expected for a $100 fuel door. Also no provision was made for the gas cap strap which my wife ppromptly complained about. This is my second purchase."
