"The AMI Locking Fuel Door installed easily according to the enclosed pictoral instructions, which also included step by step instructions on removal of the stock OEM door. The AMI door looks great and serves the security purpose of protecting from fuel theft or vandals adding foreign substances to my fuel tank quite well."

"The AMI locking black ring & chrome door has become the latest attention getter and conversation piece for my brand new 07 black 4x4 Silverado. I shopped AutoAnything's price and couldn't beat it, besides that I felt more comfortable with them anyways because of all of the positive store reviews, which they absolutely deserve. I received my order faster then I was even prepared to do the install. Speaking of install...when you install yours make sure you have patience and do it in good light, I waited to late & tried to rush it and I dropped the washers and nuts & had to scavenger hunt. Finishing the install is very rewarding, this is absolutely the coolest door I've seen."

"Although the fuel door is very nice and works great the price on it is a little rediculous. I think more like 69.99 is more appropriate. Good thing there is people like me who just "had to have it"!!"

"I've seen the ami fuel door on other trucks,it looked so nice. So I shopped around and bought one at autoanything, they had the best price with free shipping. It took me about 20 minutes to install."

AMI Fuel Door experience

"This door was not of the quality that I expectd for the price. Installation was quite involved and, since I had a problem with one of the rubber expanding bolts, I had to run all over town to find something that would work in its place. There was no extra one included in case of screw up. Also, the door does not fit my truck side flush. The adapter that the door screws into is too thick for my truck and therefore the door sitcks out from the side of the truck. I would not buy anything else from AMI due to this less than perfect fit. For over $100 I expected more"

"The door looks great on the vehicle. I was a little nervous drilling out the rivets for the old door, but it worked great. I had to fiddle with the mounting hardware to get it to fit. Overall a good product."

"The door is excellent. The direction sheet was not. I believe the directions should be reevaluated to make it easier to install the door. With regards to the door, its design is awesome; clean and masculine looking. It' rugged and well made. When installed it fits tight and secure on the truck."

Great Fit and Look

"Once the Fuel Door arrived installed it in 15 minutes. One of the installation studs was bent slighty but was easily straightened with a tap of a hammer. Polished it with aluminum polish and it looks great. From order to installation in less than 7 days. Thanks AutoAnything!!"

"overall this worked very well. The material quality was good, fit was decent and the installation was very easy taking about 10 minutes. The price seemed a little on the high side for what it is, but it was far cheaper than the cost of repairs to the original cap cover with paint that was damaged."
