"I have bought fuel doors in the past for alot less money that were better in quality and easier to install. The installation was mickey mouse and the installation was difficult. I am returning mine for hopefully something worthwhile."

Good finish, fit so so

"I purchased the fully chromed, locking version for a 2006 Mustang GT. Even after bending the threaded studs (slightly) to make it fit, there was still a larger gap between the quaterpanel & the outside trim ring as you look from bottom to top. And I don't think it would break the bank for AMI to include a small dab of graphite grease for the lock! This is the midwest, it's winter, and I don't appreciate being stuck at the gas station trying to insert a key in a frozen lock so I have enough gas to get home! (Good thing I carry a lighter) It worked fine after some lube, but still.... All in all, this AMI product really looks nice against the tungsten grey Mustang. Drilling out the mounting holes may allow for a better fit, but when it's time to upgrade my front grille, etc. I will go with a different manufacturer."

"Easy to install and the one that I ordered has a beautiful polished finish on it with the lock. A bit pricey compared to other ones out there but generally quality costs a bit more than substandard."

"Not only does it dress up the vehicle, but the lock is very helpful with the prevention of gasoline theft. It did require minor modifications, but well worth it. I highly recommend this product."
