Oh they`ll stay on. But won`t budge once they touch the surface. Better calculate / measure / mark /level /sight and take everything into account first and then do it again-because they will stick fast just as soon as they touch surface. You probably should lay on the ground too to get a good exact sight line view when actually applying. A second set of eyes and maybe hands wouldn`t be a bad Idea.Because you really can not "move"them into position. I put these on an old junker to cover the rust for my daughter so It wasn`t that all important to me as if it was going on something nice -Don`t forget-take door edge gaurds off - I thought that little bit wouldn`t matter but it did. It came out fine for what I needed but WEAR CLOVES-that metal cuts. Finally don`t forget the piece @ the rear bumper must back in first. Also only pull part of backing tape @ a time and you should be good now.Not for the un-skilled at all though. If you even have a thought you could screw something up have an experienced somebody? do it-because they will not re-align and will crease trying to do so.
