If you don't line up the trim exactly where you want it and accidentally touch it to your car before you're ready to, it can stick and you may never get it off without ruining it. I barely touched the trim to the car trying to center it before applying it and it grabbed in a very small spot and I had to pry it off and re-center it. I was MUCH more careful after that first near disaster.

I purchased the 18" antenna for my 2015 F-150. Installation was simple using one of the many supplied adaptors and it looks good. One thing I'd hoped for, was that the antenna would screw all the way down, but it does not. Though, neither did the factory antenna. Not sure why Ford cut corners here and installed an adaptor that didn't allow the antenna to fully screw down, but they didn't and the factory antenna had a 1/8" gap and so does this antenna. Probably wouldn't handle a car wash though.
