"The Honda dealer where I bought my 2009 Honda Accord wanted $510 for the chrome piller trim. I ordered them from AA for $64.95 and installed them myself. They are easy to install and look great. Glad I didn't let Honda ripped me off. EAC" —Edward C from Bayville, NY bought a Trim Illusions Chrome Pillar Post Trim for a 2009 Honda Accord, Sedan.
"Overall I was pleased with the SES Chrome Pillar Post Trim;however, the kit came with no instructions whatsoever and this led to me having a problem with some of the installation.
The rear window strips would not adhere to the metal. I called Anything Auto and your rep suggested I clean the posts with alcohol and reapply the strips while applying heat from a hair dryer. This was about 90% successful, but the strips still did not hold at the bottom. I called Anything Auto again, and your rep suggested I buy a roll of 3M double stick tape and reapply. I did this and was about 99% successful. One strip doesn't adhere at the very bottom.
I strongly suggest that SES include installation instructions with the kit telling the consumer to clean the posts BEFORE applying the trim." —James L from Center Moriches, NY bought a Trim Illusions Chrome Pillar Post Trim for a 2009 Honda Accord, Sedan.
