"I read other review of problems putting them on. It took me longer to make it level and tape it in place while I put the screws in than it took to install. If you have someone help hold it in place it would take less then 2 minutes and is very easy. Nice item to dress up your vehicle." —Daniel N from Pittsburgh, PA bought a Rugged Ridge Fuel Door Cover for a 2010 Jeep Wrangler.
"The door should be more snug when locked into place. There is a gap and that is not what I expected from AMI." —James C from Sumner, WA bought an AMI Fuel Door for a 2010 Jeep Wrangler.
"The fit and finish was great , I just wish I did not have to drill into the body. Very happy with appearance." —Dan D from Oxford, MA bought an AMI Fuel Door for a 2010 Jeep Wrangler.
"As usual, I am very satisfied with the great price and the fast shipping from AutoAnything. I am just a little surprised at how a Rugged Ridge fuel door mounts on a 2010 Wrangler.
On my 2003 Wrangler, the fuel door mounted via 8 screws around the outer edge of the assembly. You simply removed the existing screws, set the fuel door in place, and then reinstalled the previously removed screws.
On my 2010 Wrangler, the fuel door is mounted with 3 sheet metal screws that thread into the existing plastic neck surrounding the fuel cap. For that reason, you'll want to ensure the fuel door is perfectly aligned before you start threading screws into your vehicle. I held the new fuel door in place with masking tape while in inserted the screws. If you have a power screwdriver, the entire process takes less than 2 minutes." —Thomas A from Orlando, FL bought a Rugged Ridge Fuel Door Cover for a 2010 Jeep Wrangler.
"It looks good. It opens and closes. It was awkward to install because of the angle that you have to take to screw in the screws. Overall the Rugged Ridge is the cheapest one that I found, but they should be cheaper." —Ricky T from Birmingham, AL bought a Rugged Ridge Fuel Door Cover for a 2010 Jeep Wrangler.
"Now ,that the gas cost is up everyday i need to protect it .this fuel door cover is very secure and easy to intall." —Aimara S from Hialeah, FL bought a Rugged Ridge Fuel Door Cover for a 2010 Jeep Wrangler.
"This was VERY easy to install. I would suggest that you get some masking tape and "tack" it down then step back and adjust it. Once you get it straight a few screws is all it takes to mount. A little pricey, but looks awesome!" —William C from Little Rock, AR bought a Rugged Ridge Fuel Door Cover for a 2010 Jeep Wrangler.
"Decided to get this for one of those "little touches". Quality seems to be pretty good; though the faux bolt heads could use a bit more detail. Installation takes about 2 minutes using a #2 Phillips. As others have said, put some masking tape across top/bottom,get it set straight, and stick the tape to vehicle body to hold in place. Apply finger pressure to the cover to hold in place while setting screws. Overall, not bad looking and very easy to install." —Brett M from Graford, TX bought a Rugged Ridge Fuel Door Cover for a 2010 Jeep Wrangler.
