Description

You always get more power when your engine is running cooler. And Hypertech’s Power Stat Thermostat helps your ride stays cool, making sure you always get the most out of your high-performance tuning.

By opening the coolant flow at much lower temps than a stock thermostat, the Hypertech Power Stat puts a stop to high-temp detonation—a condition that causes knocking, power reduction and engine damage. You can pick from two models: a Power Stat that opens at 160° for chilled performance, or a 180° model designed to let engines living in cooler climates maintain a little extra warmth.

Both models of the Power Stat directly replace the factory thermostat—no modifications necessary. And, it’s 50-state legal when paired with your Hypertech programming, like the Power Programmer III or HyperPac. Best yet, your Hypertech Power Stat Thermostat is backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

This is an awsome thermostat. If you have a programmer you need this.It gives you more power because of a cooler temp and less chance of detonation.

This thermostat works amazing! I love hypertech! I'm going to get the programmer here before too long..it's a little pricey! The only bad thing I encountered was when the thermostat came. I am 16 years old and can probably tell you more than the big 3 about engines..hence why they are bankrupt..anyways' when I went to go sign for it you have to be 21 or older. I have a serious problem with that. My mom was forced to leave work early just to get a thermostat. Other than this it's a great product!

This is a great do-it-yourself product to keep your ride cooler without having to spend a ton of money. It would be nice if it came with a replacement rubber gasket, but that can be picked up at just about any auto parts store. Overall, this is a very good part to have and it pays for itself in performance.

There's no reason to keep the car hot unless you live in a heavy cold place. This is a nice investment.
