"A year ago, i purchased a similar B&M SuperCooler Automatic Transmission Coolers and installed into my 2000 Acura TL. The purchase was a precautionary measure because of the design flaw on this car's transmission. I put in approximately 40,000 miles (majority hwy) and never had any issue with the transmission even on long drive and driving at slightly above the normal hwy speed.
It appears that the B&M supercooler has done to minimize the heat associated with driving. We are in the process of relocating to California and temperature is warmer compared to midwest. Driving in warmer weather may pose a threat to automatic transmission. Therefore, it is must for B&M SuperCooler Automatic Transmission Coolers to improve the life of the auto transmission.
Given my experience...these coolers were easily installed but the only issue i had for both were the transmission cooler hose seems to be short so i had to buy additional 4 ft. All the rest seems to be okay."

"The super cooler was delivered in a timely manner. It looked great. It fit my youkon perfectly. I had it installed in no time at all. Iused most of the hardware that came with my tranny cooler. The only problem i encountered was the little hose clamps that came with the kit broke before i had it tight enough. I would highly recomend this cooler kit to anyone looking for a trany cooler."

"Quality cooler, straight forward installation...once feed lines to and from radiator are located. B&M could have better with the installation instructions in that regard. Oil temperature difference between trans. oil entering cooler and leaving cooler is noticeable."

"I bought the cheapest one they offered. Notice you can also buy one that is twice as thick with superior cooling ability. THAT is the one I should have bought. The effect of the cooler is provide much better shifting and much more positive engaging. You won't regret buying it, and when the weather turns cold, it has the effect of insulating the radiator and keeping it warm. When it is hot.. it has the effect of increasing radiator area. Go for the bigge!"

"I've search high & low for a really good Transmission Oil Cooler. Found a lot that were just a tube with fins for my car. But heard that B&M have really great products. So I Decide to try this cooler after reading about it. Came with what seems like enough hadware to install it without a problem, didn't use any of them (except for the metal pieces that came with it) due to the fact that I made my own bracket for it, so installation took me a bit longer (something I had plained on doing before I've gotten the Cooler). The design of the cooler looks very sufficient for cooling as well. It's been 2 weeks since I installed it & had a really good test drive yesterday with it. My transmission fluid didn't overheat & no little rough down shifts ether. Have notice a smoother shifting & crusing without pressing the gas has become better as well. So, so far it is working excellet."
