2009 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 5.3

Just purchased a lightly used Sierra 1500 and wanted to beef up the performance without getting a K&N as everyone has them. Banks makes a great product that looks great and works better. The engine note changes at ~4000 RPM w/an immediate difference in power. Installation is a breeze with the right tools (roughly 3-4 hours while not rushing). The all black look is mean and no cutting/altering was required. Best advice is to pair with an exhaust system to funnel added engine noise to the rear

2014 GMC Sierra 4x4 CrewCab

Took it to an installer due to having to cut out old exhaust. Sounds great. Quite through the gears, nice rumble. Gets louder when the engine goes down to four cylinders. But, overall very happy with sound. I can feel the extra power when going up hills.

I have the Banks Ram Air on my 6.0 so I thought it would be nice to upgrade to the Super-Scoop. Installing took about 2 hours. I did buy me new fasteners for the fenderwell I broke some on removal. [I did order the Super-Scoop for a diesel pickup mine is gas]
