Flex-a-lite Trimline Universal Electric Cooling Fans Reviews

Major Air Mover

Reviewed By RAY S (New Lenox, IL) Reviewed for a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass —6/4/2014 2:16 PM

This fan does as it should....moves major amounts of air!!!! I can feel the air suction from in front of the grill, which is about 18" in front of the radiator (and the fan is set up as a puller behind the radiator). Car would heat up(210-220) in traffic jam situations when engine driven fan was at idle. This Flex-a-lite fan sucks the water temperature back down to 185 in 2-3 minutes. Awesome!!!

Awsome Fans

Reviewed By Brian R (Fountain, CO) Reviewed for a 2013 Dodge Ram —6/12/2015 5:32 PM

Great fans very quiet. Go great with cai tb 180 therm and a stage 2 performance mudule. All I can hear is the engines performance now. Keeps engine good and cold. Install was hardest part other then removal of clutch fan. Had to torch the bolt would not come off with air chisel etc. But other then that it was straight forward. Would deff recommend.

Flex-a-Lite Black Magic X-treme S-blade#180. Fan fit like it came from the factory. The engine is a 327/40 over. The fan works GREAT it turns on and off, and cools the motor down.I live in Tucson Az. In the summer the blacktop is about 130 deg.
