Why Should I Upgrade My Vehicle's Interior With A Custom Dash Kit?
<
These days, we all spend an ever increasing amount of time on the road. As such, we deserve to drive automobiles that have inviting environments and that reflect our own unique senses of style. Surprisingly, one of the most dramatic ways to personalize your vehicle's interior design is also one of the easiest upgrades you can do: installing a new dash kit. Decking out your cockpit with a custom-fitting dash kit will:
- Accentuate and highlight your control panels, center console, door panels, steering wheel, air vents, overhead consoles and everywhere else on and around your dashboard.
- Add an elegant and lavish finish to your vehicle that used to be reserved only for high-end automobiles.
- Give you a quick and easy way to customize your driving environment, so you will feel excited every time you sit down behind the wheel.
Auto manufacturers spend just as many hours designing distinctive, memorable interiors for their new cars, trucks, SUVs and minivans as they do creating the actual bodies. Fashioning an interesting dash, console and instrument cluster with plenty of visual impact is a badge of honor for auto designers, and is often a deciding factor for perspective owners. What's more, the designs change almost every year to generate more interest in each new model. You could say that auto interiors are like fingerprints; no two are alike.
Likewise, every dash kit that AutoAnything carries is completely custom-fitted for your year, make and model vehicle. Every length, width, gap and clearance has been painstakingly measured and re-measured to ensure the best possible fit onto your dashboard. Before you decide on a kit, spend some time investigating all the different features on your vehicle. Make a note about whether you have power windows, power doors, a CD or tape player stereo, a factory-installed navigation system, manual or automatic transmission and any other distinguishing knobs, controls or switches. During the ordering process, you will need to know these intimate details.

How to Care for Your New Dash Trim
Now that you've installed your deluxe new dash trim, you'll want to keep it looking its best. Thankfully, our trim packages are all easy to maintain, as long as you follow these rules of thumb:
Let your new trim settle for about 72 hours before you clean it. The 3M adhesive is still curing, so you don't want to disturb it with excessive jostling.
Use a clean towel that's moistened with water or ordinary window cleaner to wash your trim. You don't need to use any harsh detergents or wire brushesjust an occasional polish is all it takes.
Never use any vinyl treatments on your new dash trim. Though they work wonders on your dashboard, they're loaded with Silicone, which can actually dissolve the trim's adhesive.
