I took a risk ordering this kit online. I've seen wood trim on upscale cars before and I was wondering how these kits would compare. Well, they look darn good and adds a nice pop to an otherwise plain looking auto interior. The quality was top notch and not that difficult to install. Just make sure you dry install the parts first and plan your install BEFORE you peel off the tape and start placing the section. In short, I would highly recommend Sherwood Dash Kits. I do plan to do my new SUV.

I gave this dash kit 5 stars because it met all of my expectations but my expectations were that it would like like a stuck-on dash kit and not a factory manufactured/installed kit. Heating the pieces up ( I set them out in the sun on a flat surface ) and then installing them while they are pliable seems to be the key. I cleaned all surfaces with Simple Green and rubbing alcohol prior to installation and had no adhesion problems.

The trim itself looks great but It keeps pulling away from the carbon fiber trim under it.I cannot seem to get it to stay in place it keeps pulling away.Maybe some stronger adesive.I ended up using Gorila Glue to make it stay in place.Truble with that it will never come off.It is realy a shame becouse it looks realy good.

Looks good. However the radio area they sent is not for the stock 6 cd radio my car has and they don't have a template for it. Why not? It's a factory stock radio. I was very pleased with the customer service at auto anything but not Sherwood industries.

Installed most of the pieces on my 2000 Hyundai elantra. I have to say it is a pretty good dash kit for the money. The quality is pretty good. I wouldn't say oem quality but definitely close. I cleaned the interior parts properly and used heat while applying the pieces. I have not had any problems just need to apply some more heat because certain pieces tend to have little air bubbles. Other than that, I would def say get the kit to add some class to your interior.
